We all saw the photos. We all saw the new clips. President Obama went to Iraq and the troops greeted him warmly.
“Army officers had intended to have at least 1,500 troops from Camp Victory and nearby Camp Liberty,” The Wall Street Journal reported, “but the secret trip happened faster than expected, beating most of the troops by a couple of hours. Only 600 made it.”
But was the enthusiasm real or was it staged? Here’s how one sergeant who was on the ground in Iraq reports it.
“We were pre-screened, asked by officials “Who voted for Obama?” And then those who raised their hands were shuffled to the front of the receiving line. They even handed out digital cameras and asked them to hold them up.”
GatewayPundit notes that all the soldiers in the AP photo are using the same model camera, which seems to validate the sergeant’s claim.
C’mon, they were enhancing the moment, like when Hillary stuffs her face with Botox. And with the same result. A much better photo op.

Since the plan that is needed in Afgan is the Military Counterinsurgency Plan that would take approxamately another 12 years……yep another look is needed. I wonder why the Bushies did not go with the Counterinsurgency Plan in the first place? NATION BUILDING is what would happen and that would go against what they railed Clinton for in the 90’s.
