Democrats are all about nothing which is why they can’t cluster around an ideological core. There is no there, there. They have no core, no values, no center of gravity. They can’t think past a sound bite to consider the ramifications. They are fad-driven, simultaneously for and against everything and then on to the next fad. Meanwhile, their policies, made without an underlying value system, further enslave the very people they intended to serve. — less freedom means more poverty; more class struggle; more hatred, bigotry and suffering; more dependency; less for everyone.
Republicans have a well formed ideology — less government and more personal responsibility. Personal responsibility means you take care of yourself (not the nanny-state), you take care of the environment (don’t pollute, clean up your own mess). Less government means more individual freedom, lower taxes and open markets. This equals opportunity for everyone — regardless of race, creed, orientation, gender, or any other label that Democrats and those who prefer the bondage of limits imposed by an elite “State”.
That’s not to say there aren’t bad Republicans, but you know them when you see them because you have a set of stated principals by which you can judge their actions. There is nothing by which you can judge Democrats, they can only sneer and mock those who profess a value system and then fall short.
Sorry, the Republicans are the Party of No, and the Democrats are the Party of Yes We Can. I can’t say it any simplier. You got everything backasswards.
