Remember back when Montel Williams promoted his sleazy TV show the the slogan, “Montel brings people together?”
Well, apparently, he’s against bringing them together in internment camps. Especially if they’re Muslim.
Here’s an excerpt from his conversation with Frank Farley of Temple University:
Williams: We pulled something like this back in World War II when we decided to round up all Japanese Americans and put them in internment camps…The [anti-Muslim] rhetoric… could get out of hand. What do you think?
Farley: I agree totally… The possibilities of prejudice and racism and so on are incredible here. We should be treating this as a unique incident and look at the factors involved in this very unique and specific incident and not overgeneralize. Unfortunately, we tend to overgeneralize all the time. The idea that all Muslims are the same is ridiculous…
Williams: Even if it comes out… that his frame of reference was his religion and that was what was giving him the power within himself to make his stand, that doesn’t mean that the religion is to blame.
Farley: Absolutely, his interpretation [of Islam] may vary dramatically from [that of] his fellow Muslims.
Let us state very clearly that we are opposed to internment camps for Muslims.
On the other hand, interment camps for Air America hosts isn’t such a bad idea.

Well the moronic Montel found himself the perfct patsy in Frank Farley who is rightfully described by NewsBusters as a real media whore…
Doing a simple search of the USAToday I find that there are many fairy tales with Farley’s two cents as part of them…
Thanks for mentioning Newsbusters, that is my main media news site, there are some really good staffers there, & they have excelent posters as well.
Williams and Farley are both imbeciles. If the dolts would take note of how many muslims condemn Hasan’s behavior they would realize how asinine their position is. But, alas, dolts are dolts.
They’re right. I mean just look at all of the well-attended, anti-terror protests (North) American Muslims have held. /sarc
The time to put Muslims in concentration camps came and went. If it wasnt going to happen right after 9/11 it is not going to happen now. Not that it would have been correct to do it after 9/11 either. The US obviously learnt from the past (Japanese internment for example). That sort of thing is unconstitutional. I have great hope that the govt wouldnt overreact and in reality it didnt and indeed the best happened as well with MOST Americans were overall you barely heard of Muslims being harrassed or worst right after 9/11. If after 3,000 + people dead people didnt put Muslims away why would it happen now? The man is an idiot.
I guess its true then some turban wearing extremists with box cutters high jacked American airlines and getting past the strongest superpower in the world crashed them into the W.T.C and made the buildings collapsed. That’s the biggest crock of sh*t, there is so much evidence out there pointing to government sponsorship on this, like super thermite that was used on the beams, that’s military grade, no “terraist” as bush would call it can obtain that. Do you research people, cnn or headline news is not a legit source of information, that’s what the internet is for.
