Hugo Chavez looks past the illusion and doesn't like what he sees.

As if to prove the old saying that “Even a blind sow occasionally finds an acorn”, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez has stumbled upon a truth that the American people having been discovering over the last eleven months.

Reuters reports this comment from Chavez’ year end message to the Venezuelan people:

“Let’s not kid ourselves: the Obama illusion has finished, and the shameless interventionism of the American administration shows that.”

In related news, Rasmussen reports that American voters no longer buy the illusion, either:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15.

Luckily, the people of the United States have much greater ability to oust unpopular leaders than the people of Venezuela.

a lot of people in venezuela love hugo chavez. its not as one sided as everyone thinks it is.

there are people everywhere who will disagree with something. chavez is against american and israeli control of basically the whole world, which is why he is so often demonized.

he isnt the best leader by far, but id take him over any american president since kennedy. he has courage to stand up to the world powers, and will soon be fighting a proxy war against the US in columbia.

We understand tickets to Venezuela are pretty cheap right now. And you’d only need a one-way ticket. Why “waste” more “years” WastedYears? Get a move on.

Why bother leaving, then? If this keeps up, who knows? Maybe Venezuela is closer than you think.

LOLOLOLOLOL

Okay… That is just wow… Yeah I agree with Admin go on to Venezuela and TRY to live there as a free human being for a year and see how that works out for you. Make sure not to complain about anything and be ready to give up things that you took for granted before like water to take showers.

Ah, Chavez.

The monster who, a number of years back, at the beginning of his tyranny, had snipers on rooftops shooting protestors against his regime dead, and then blaming those deaths on the opposition(how cunning of those conservatives to kill their own, and blame Chavez … diabolical!); a perfectly acceptable explanation for the loony Left at the time.

I’ll never forget the footage of young Venezuelans dropping dead with bullets through their brains.
