C'mon, give daddy sugar. It's Non-Heteronormative Father's Day

C'mon, give daddy sugar. It's Non-Heteronormative Father's Day

Harry Knox, a member of President Obama’s Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, says that promoting responsible fatherhood should include moving away from the “heteronormative view of fatherhood.”

Don’t you love words like “heteronormative?”

What it means is that traditional fatherhood is passe. Now gays should be fathers. Lesbians should be fathers. Trans-sexuals should be fathers. Amoebas should be fathers. Lamp posts should be fathers. Everyone and everything should be fathers.

The White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships divvies up the big pot of federal money among religious non-profit and charitable groups.

Don’t forget. Father’s Day is June 21. We’re not sure when Non-Heteronormative Father’s Day is.
