I despise David Gregory but this is ridiculous. Has the DCPD eliminated all crime in the District? An empty 30 round mag!? This country has its priorities really all f***ed up.

Oh the laws are stupid, no one can dispute that (save the left of course), but this is a matter of principle. They have these laws in place, NBC asked if they could do this and were told no, then they did so anyway. If this was a real clip, while as ridiculous as this sounds, he should be fined and arrested as should anyone else involved. If honest citizens can’t have these and the laws are enforced upon them then show the public that no matter who you are the laws will be enforced. Show them that not even this huge new organization can break those laws and get away with it.

I get the letter of the law but the whole thing is absurd. That said, I hope they give DG 1000 hours of community service and two years probation.

I ask myself that each and every time the country suffers a weather event, and every breathing, walking, meteorologist or wanna-be stands outside during the event – while telling YOU to remain inside. Morons. We’ve seen enough hurricanes/tornadoes, and yes…freaking SNOW falls. Give up the main street reports.

I think over the top weather event coverage started here in Minnesota. NavyVet can back me up on this one. For years we have had the over the top, in your face coverage of weather in the TwinCities, & I remember it started in the 1980′s. We always had school closing announcements on WCCO radio, that was’nt it though. We got the break in coverage almost anytime a storm was heading east from the Dakota’s, & it became so routine that folks ingored it after awhile.

Ha, ha! What an idiot. However it could be that a producer told him to do it anyway and he didn’t know that they didnt have permission. Although it is quite ridiculous I want to see what comes out of this. If he gets a pass or if they throw the book on him.

If they DO decide to prosecute, Gregory will make a deal, turning over the guy that brought it to him. You know he didn’t go get it himself.

And you know, it’s only right. That thing, though unloaded, could have gone off on it’s own and killed everyone in the studio.
