Never mind the ignorance about what kind of guns were used in Newton, the galling part about the super wealthy trying to disarm the rest of us is that THEY will always be able to hire armed security guards to protect them, no matter what the gun laws are. It’s the rest of us who will be defenseless before the mob, which is infuriating. I abandoned Fox in disgust a couple years ago when they went soft on Islam after the Saudi royal family bought a big chunk of their stock, and after Bill O’Reilly started jumping on the Global Warming bandwagon. None of these gun grabbing fools realize that the weapons used where a Glock and and Sig Sauer hand gun. The Glock is the weapon of choice for almost ever law enforcement agency in the USA. The Sig is consider one of the most desired by law abiding citizens for protection. Neither are automatic weapons. They are semi automatic. Therefore you must release and squeeze the trigger each and every time.

I have to say this – for I have been thinking it for some time – Americans will lite candles, wear patches, put stickers on NFL football helmets, don ribbons, ad nauseum over the CT tragedy. Did we not do this enough after the senseless killings in the theater earlier this year? When will something truly be done to protect children in our schools – having armed trained teams in every school with the mission to shoot to kill ANYONE that even attempts to molest a child? No, we’ll sit around, wring our hands about how to remove weapons from law abiding citizens in the US – much like this administration has totally trampled on the US Constitution and removed a good deal of our freedoms already. Just think – the clown in the White House was reelected – How many of you actually believe you will be better off in 2016 than you are now here at the end of 2012?
And just as an aside, think about what the ACLU and Defense Lawyers would be doing to a CT law enforcement officer HAD he/she been on the scene in time to actually take the perp out after just the 1st shot had been fired? Oh yea, we are much much safer in America today than we were even 24 hours ago. NOT.
