Northern Ireland bans British global warming commercials

YouTube Preview ImageSammy Wilson, Northern Ireland’s outspoken environment minister, has banned the British government’s climate change TV commercials. He said their message is “insidious propaganda.”

Wilson believes we should learn to cope with natural climate change, rather than waste our resources attempting to slow down a “man-made” problem.

The objectionable TV commercials are part of the British government’s “Act on CO2″ campaign. They encourage the public to reduce its use of electricity and fossil fuels.

The British responded by saying, “We’ll deal with Sammy Wilson and the global warming problem as soon as we can get all this damn snow off the streets.”
