So if Obama wasn’t bowing to the Saudi king in this video, what was he doing?
Picking a Hubba Bubba bubble gum wrapper up off the floor? Admiring his lean good looks in the shine of the king’s shoes? Ducking a shoe that had been thrown from the crowd? Doing his hilarious impression of Henry Kissinger’s rheumatoid arthritis? Getting into position to have his butt kissed by sycophantic Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd? Demonstrating to the king how he would bend over for any future Saudi demands?
If just so reassuring to know that our President humbles himself before terrorist-supporting Muslim kings.
This is really going to work out well.

You’re absolutely right! It was probably a secret gesture to his Muslim comrades that he’s right on track for destroying America.

At least George W. Bush had the tact to hold hands with the sheikh and walk with him. Hand in hand. Way more tactful than a single bow. Plus, we all know that when a man bows to another, it automatically means they want to destoy America, take your guns, redistribute your wealth.
It’s totally a huge conspiracy. There’s no way in hell that we are acting like sore losers. Just sitting there waiting for something, SOMETHING to fit into the opinion they made without consulting any FACTS. Or making up rumors and exaggerating stories to scare the crap out of yourself, then you end up believing your own propaganda. Nah, that’s totally not the case.
I’ve always been a little uncomfortable with how close we are to fundamentalist states. The same goes for fundamentalist elements (of all stripes) in our country.

I know you think youre a clever liberal, but the hoopla is all about the leader of the US bowing to the leader of another country.
Bush shouldnt have been holding hands, Obama shouldnt be bowing. Its pretty simple, but you keep working your faux conspiracy theories for the conservative readers, we really like to see liberals pop on and demonstrate their naievete on a daily basis.
