Reassuring news: Obama never talked to half a dozen members of his cabinet

by editor on January 26, 2011

Why speak to mere cabinet members when you have czars out the wazoo?

John Heilemann of New York magazine tells Andrea Mitchell that his investigation uncovered the truly remarkable fact that President Obama never spoke to six members of his cabinet during his first two years in office. Not once.

Not a single “Hey, how are the wife and kids.” Not one “How ’bout those wacky Iranians.” Nary a “Hey, got any ideas on the economy?”

If we had to make a wild guess, we’d say Secretary of Defense was one of the cabinet members Obama hasn’t spoken to.

Don’t know about SEIU but the President of AFL/CIO Trumka claims he SEES Barry Twice a WEEK and speaks to WH folks EVERY DAY.
Now of the SIX he hasn’t spoken to for at least TWO YEARS, one is Shinseki of Veterans Affairs and the 2nd one I found to be Gary Locke, Sec of Commerce who just became Ambassador to Red China.
So you figure it out – he sees top Union Thug twice a week but doesn’t see Commerce Sec for TWO Years. And you thought the Worker’s World died with the Soviet Union… wrong, it just changed its address to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington D C.

It shows *exactly* where his priorities are in 20+% unemployment, made worse by his inability to relate to business.

(Just can’t help but add to the necromancy going on here…)

Obama only listens to Bill Ayers and Van Jones.
Maybe Rev Wright

I think the real power is located at The Center For American Progress. That is where Obama has outsourced much his braintrust to avoid scrutiny, & it’s worked.

No need to talk to his cabinet when he has nearly forty Czars in his shadow government.

My sister’s boyfriend’s buddy (kind of a long chain, but I know my sister and her boy friend VERY well) works in the White House as a medic, and he says that Barry is much less friendly than Bush was. Much more closed off.

If he was as “open” as Clinton everyone would be able to see what a dimbulb he really is and he can’t have that. The Obummer does not know how to do anything, does not know how lead our country, does not know shit from shinola. And that is a flat out fact, no political rhetoric needed.

Stating that Bush wasn’t as friendly as Clinton or that Bush was friendly but Obama is not in comparison to him?

Wouldn’t you think that the MSM would be all over this asshole? Seriously-this is so outlandish it is actually funny.

There is no one at the helm in Washington, D.C.-NO ONE!

We are more than at risk with this clown in the WH-and we are going to find out just how dangerous that is very shortly.

Unbelievable. There are only 15 members of the cabinet, so our numbskull president is apparently uninterested in 40% of his job as chief executive.

Given his background I’m not sure he knew he had to actually communicate with his cabinet members, I mean, O being so extremely intelligent, they would have been able to know his thoughts and do exactly what he expected them to do just by walking by him on their way out the door.

My guess is, his economic advisor is on this list.

That reminds me … QUOTE: “Unemployment insurance and other social assistance programs increase [the] reservation wage, causing an unemployed person to remain unemployed longer.” — Lawrence H. Summers, before he became an Obama economic advisor, in Concise Encyclopedia of Economics (1999)

Pathetic.

I find this absolutely Pathetic with a capital P. This is not normal.

It’s “normal” if you’re a community agitator–DOH! I mean organizer!

I couldn’t resist a Music Man reference. ;D

and the man has to have time to golf people! He can’t be talking to important people on his cabinet. When he gonna find time to work on his swing if he do that?

He’s the smartest president we ever had. He don’t need no stinking advice from an inferior cabinet member.

He also knows what is best for all of his subjects. Ya know …. like obamacare.

I know you are being a wise ass, & I’m with you. But don’t kid yourself, Obama does think he knows what best for his “subjects”. Oh yes he does.
