Occupy Occupy D.C. Build Wind Turbine to Memorialize Dead Birds… killed… by… Wait for it… WIND TURBINES. In other news, the artist commissioned to build a sculpture of the liberal’s collective brains has given up, stating that he could not find a pin head small enough to hold the masterpiece.

Did they make the turbines out of birds killed by the turbines to memorialize all the dead birds killed by turbines?

National Center Senior Fellow Bonner Cohen, Ph.D. “If the full force of the Migratory Bird Treaty and the Endangered Species Act were brought to bear on these UNSIGHTLY killing machines, investors would turn their backs on this artificial industry in a heartbeat.”
There they go, always using their feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings all the time….

Wind turbines kill birds and bats, lots of them. Yet the “green community” remains remarkably silent on the issue, I suspect they’ve concluded that a few hundred thousand dead flying critters is part of the price of forcing the nation to adopt these useless, ugly, noisy killing machines. But it’s a lose/lose situation for the animal kingdom and the electricity using public.

I’m waiting for the Earth Liberation Front to dynamite a wind turbine or for PETA to block a wind turbine construction site.

…might ber a long wait, they’ve drunk the kool aid too.

All these birds and bats killed and wind is not even providing 1% of our power yet. What would happen if we got it up to 10 or 20%? We’d be up to our ears in feathers and guano. It would be an environmental disaster.

We would have to turn Canada into a wind farm in order to get it up to 20%.

A good point, basically saying that getting any significant portion of our energy generation from these things is a pipe dream. But don’t worry, I’m sure the Unicorn Party has thought this all through.

Yes, after they smoked their fairy (angel) dust, they came up with solutions for everything!

I wonder if we could find a renewable energy source that would shred Occupiers?

Leave them to their own devices and they self-destruct. VD, drugs, bad sanitary habits, etc.

I built a memorial to the nice people from OWS just a few minutes ago, too bad I had to flush it.

Probably spent more time planning that movement than OWS did

Kinda OT but Smithee’s pin head comment reminded me of this from way back. He “… can only do some of the work between heart beats”, pretty cool, thought I’d share.
