If Gingrich would have won the nomination I think he would have. My only hope is that Romney, because it looks like we are stuck with him, will have to same ferocity towards Obama that he has shown towards his GOP challengers. There may be hope.

Re Romney. Good point but I doubt he will do it. It would offend the media. Likewise the GOP leadership and RNC. They’re called the stupid party for a reason.
With all the campaign gold they have been handed, I hope they surprise me and actually use some of it. But I’ve been let down by these dolts too many times to be optimistic.

companies are amoral they are in business to make money and so long as they do it legally they are going to do what they see best for their busniess.
You could pitch a tent and drain the tax payers (middle America you claim to want to help), you could follow the jobs where they go or you could help strengthen Capitalism.

I hate to point out reality but that big negative slope change right around the end of the first quarter of 2007 was when Nanzi Pelousi and the demokrat party pushed though the minimum wage increase.

There were those that said doing that would dramatically increase youth unemployment but these people were told they were hysterically emotional and knew nothing. That increasing the rate for unskilled workers would do nothing to youth unemployment. Those people were later proved to be correct.

Those that failt to learn from history are doomed to vote demokrat.

Untold numbers of papers, articles, scholarly publications have been written about the destructiveness of the minimum wage. It pushes up everyone’s pay ( therefore the overall cost of labor), contributes to inflation, and becomes a zero sum gain. Worse for those never hired or displaced due to the artificial lift in labor costs. Obamacare is also doing the same thing. All government intervention here and morons like you, john, just eat up the whole living wage charade. You are worse than a fool.
