Santa Fe police offered $100, $150, and $200 prepaid Visa gift cards for residents who wanted to turn in their rifles, shotguns, and handguns.

Damn fools, with the price of firearms going up the way they are, they could have sold them Private and made much more.

Why the hell is a state rep doing this? Like someone else says, take ‘em to a dealer, especially if they’re at all valuable. I always thought these deals were aimed (haha) at illegally-owned weapons. Maybe he was out there trying to set an example?

And this is in Santa Fe? I know it’s sorta San Francisco South, but is it really a gangster’s paradise too? Whose guns were they buying?
