PA college slashes instructors’ hours to avoid Obamacare. “‘The solution’, says United Steelworkers representative Jeff Cech, ‘is that adjunct professors should unionize in an attempt to thwart schools seeking similar cost-savings efforts from avoiding Obamacare.’” Yeah, that’ll work as well as it did at Twinkie University.

Welcome to the brave new world of part time slave labor. Obama care, now we know what’s in it and it still sucks.

Hey, that’s cool, we can all just go out and get 3 or 4 part time jobs to make up the difference.

I don’t pay my helpers, and they only work weekends. I’m good.

Probably 90% of them voted for Obama. What a shame. Their “FREE” healthcare is gonna hurt when they have a lot less coming in. Ouch.

Yet somehow this will never been reported by the “news Organizations” and the left will spin this as Job’s added when they have to hire more part timers to work the hours the others were cut.

Even though they will have less income, the IRS will still be there to make sure they pay for their “free” healthcare.

“Several years of cuts or largely flat funding from our government supporters have led to significant cost reductions by CCAC, leaving little room to trim the college’s budget further.”
Well duh! It’s a government school, they need money, just RAISE TAXES!

Universities and colleges already have a union. It’s called tenure. As more and more full time fools become part time fools, those of intellect will wonder who are they going to cry to. Barry won’t hear them, their union buddies got theirs and Bush has been out of office too long? Though some will try to blame W for their misery.
Did anyone else notice that GE Medical announced hughe layoffs late last week? That job czar position is really working out now.

I would expect many more similar announcements.

The two Obamacare related items I think we’ll see in 2013 will be increasing joblessness (which may bring some civil unpleasantness) and states refusing to set up health insurance exchanges, which forces the Feds to do it. They won’t because they don’t have resources to do it. We are living in interesting times.

Look at what is going on with Wal Mart.
Unions have started planting seeds in the heads of these unskilled labor drones, and they are “demanding” benefits and complaining about making $8.45/hr.
You want to make more? Get a marketable skill!
Home Depot only pays minimum wage to start around here, and it doesn’t matter if you are a skilled tradesman in the department you work in! They do offer benefits, but you have to pay most of the cost.

Unions and the labor market have nothing to do with each other. We know that. Morons on the left will never understand it despite the fact that every manufacturing industry they touch goes to hell once the finances can’t keep up with the revenue drain that the unions cause.

As Thomas Jefferson is so famously quoted as saying, “”The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” and that is where barrycare is taking this country.
You have the takers, fakers and none makers all wanting to take from those that make, do and contribute. At some point, they will stop just handing it over and will challenge those that wanting it to come and take it.
I enjoy history of all kinds and we are repeating the very things that have destroyed many great nations and empires along with starting the Civil War.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, just wait until all these small companies with just over 50 employees start mass layoffs / part time employment.
I’m surprised nobody has dropped a nuke on DC as of yet.
