What the President meant to say is that Nancy Pelosi is all washed up

Poor Nancy Pelosi. According the Greatest President In History, she’s been working hard. Really hard. “Nancy’s busy with her mop, cleaning up someone else’s mess,” he said. “And we don’t want someone sitting back saying, ‘You’re not holding the mop the right way.’”

We’re not sure whose mess Nancy is cleaning up. After all, she’s represented her district in Congress for more than 20 years. You would think that the worst moppers ever – you know, the ones who don’t hold the mop right – would be able to clean up a substantial mess in 20 years.

Speaking to his critics Obama asked, “Why don’t you grab a mop? Why don’t you help clean up?”

The President’s critics are hoping that the major clean up starts next year, and rather than taking 20 years, that it’s pretty well completed by 2012.
