It takes Barack Obama longer to read a book than it takes an author to write it
The media is all atwitter over the books taken to Martha’s Island by President Obama, anointing him not only The Greatest President In History, but now The Most Literate President In History.
Only one problem. Either the guy needs a quick refresher course at Evelyn Woods Reading Dynamics or he needs to spend more time reading books and less time reading the greens out on the golf course.
Our point? The Most Literate President in History is a very slow reader.
Back in June Obama told a British interviewer that he was reading a book titled Netherland. We pointed out that he’d previously told another interviewer that he was reading the same book in three months earlier.
Now the media has announced that the Commander in Chief’s list of beach books includes Thomas Friedman’s “Hot, Flat and Crowded.” Good lord, the President claimed to have read the same book almost a year earlier and even quoted it at a rally in Flint, Michigan eleven months ago. Yet the same book has shown up again on the list of books Obama plans to read on his current vacation.
To review: It took him three months to finish the 270-page Netherland and a now it’s taken nearly a year for him to finish the 448-page “Hot, Flat and Crowded.”
Lord help us if he ever attempts to read his own 1018-page healthcare bill.

Ha Ha – The truth is he is not reading anything. This is just crap his handlers think up to impress people. Face it – he is really not that smart. (Note to liberal trolls – no I did not think Bush was that swift either)
PS I would like to send him and every democrat a copy of Sowell’s Basic Economics. Its not the greatest economics book ever written, but man is it good. Chock full of everything a liberal manchild doesn’t want to hear: that money dosnot grow on trees, socialism doesn’t work etc,

Maybe we should send him “Berenstain Bears Get the Gimmies” or “The Trouble with Money”…written to his level but giving the same concepts as Sowell. The girls can help him with the big words.
Sending Obama any of Dr. Sowell’s books would be a great idea, if he would read them…maybe a book on tape with some hiphop inter-mingled would be the more appropriate for the ‘brilliant’ Won.

i am a political moderate, i voted for obama, but i don’t believe in socialized healthcare. i believe abortions should be legal, the death penalty illegal, but i think torture has its place.
does anyone consider that maybe, just maybe, he’s spending his time trying to dig us out of the three mile deep pit we’ve dug ourselves into over the last 8 years instead of reading?
