Hollywood hates conservatives. The press hates conservatives. And the worst conservative on earth is Rush Limbaugh. And President Obama loves all that. Put all these ingredients together and what do you get? Comedian and actress Wanda Sykes at the the White House Press Corps dinner last night saying she hope Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys fail, to the delight and laughter of our free press, and of course, our tolerant and very sensitive president.
Oh we know, she was just kidding. The press crops were just a little tipsy. And the president was just politely smiling along with the joke. Can’t we conservatives just lighten up?

Most negroes just basically hate America, and distort everything that is great about America into something terrible. Rush is a GREAT man; a GREAT AMERICAN.
Completely and utterly agree.. He is one of the nicest men to listen to on the radio.. a big old teddy bear of a man. I love his monologues about freedom and Individuality – It is great medicine for what ails my soul.
Thought – why are they still talking about Rush if we republicans and conservatives don’t matter any longer – if their Savior is in town. Don’t worry about the devil when Christ is eating dinner with you.

Hey, thanks for the supportive reply; most would chastise me for using the word “negroes,” and get all indignant about my “racism” and so forth. Frankly, Archie Bunker is probably exactly who we need in spades these days heading up vast enterprises, political factions, media conglomerates, etc…affirmative action economics is wrecking our nation!
And it’s also exactly why the Republican party is getting flushed down the toilet. One in five people now identify with the GOP, and thank God for that! There really is some hope for this country after all.
Rush is a joke. Most of us get it.
Yeah right. The man has been on the air since 1987 and has built an amazing career, with something like 20 million listeners a week. His influence is virtually unparalleled by anyone. He combines the jocular irreverence and satire of George Carlin with the dead-serious earnestness and gravitas of Henry Kissinger. In terms of sheer depth of intellect and wit, Rush makes everyone else–with the sole exception of Ann Coulter–an also-ran.

I listen to Rush nearly every day.. have you ever listened to him? I am 57 years old, same age as Rush. He goes into these wonderful monologues about freedom of speech and that any human being, man, woman, white, black (or, olive, like me) can in this country, if they are willing to really work hard and strive to become something greater, excel and become exceptional. He constantly encourages his listeners to excel.
As a woman born to a maid and custodian in Rochester NY in 1951, I lived poor, and thanks, to the culture of liberalism that I was immersed in, at that time, believed I was fated to become nothing more than either of my parents. Liberalism teaches despair and hopelessness because it teaches people to become dependent on others instead of themselves. It teaches complacency. My parents never even bothered to try to rise out of poverty because of the liberal mindset they had adopted during the 1930s.
I am not helpless nor hopeless. I have potential. It has taken me my entire life to realize what a damnable lie liberalism is!
I am now writing a novel because I have always wanted to be a writer.
It was marrying a conservative husband who introduced me to Rush – needless to say, I believed the same things you do, you swim in the prejudices and assumptions of your class and era, what you believe must be true, it is common knowledge, isn’t it? – so I listened reluctantly -
It took only a very short time to be persuaded that Rush Limbaugh is one of the smartest and wisest men I have ever had the pleasure of listening to – and for FREE! YOU assume you know Rush and what he says because you hear it from liberal newsmen and comedians, just as I did all those years,ago. What you are voicing is TRUE PREJUDICE- you are judging Rush Limbaugh and us Republicans and Conservatives without really speaking to us!
I believe there is raw hate in your philosophy/world view for Rush Limbaugh because you know you can not defeat him with reason and well- argued points. You fear what you can not control, as all liberals must do.
You say that the republican party is getting flushed down the toilet, no Sir, I say not. Our country has gone through cycles like this before. In my parents time during 1930’s, for instance. You do not understand the Law of Ying and Yan. You can no more destroy the opposite of liberalism than we can destroy liberalism. Opposites must exist, in the universe, It is a Law of both nature and spirituality.
When people see the results of this administration, when they realize America is poorer than ever before because Of Pr. Obama, then the cycle will reverse itself and the pendulum will swing back the other way.
Sykes was speaking for a lot of Republicans too. She said what everyone thinks but can’t say out loud, because if The Fat One gets insulted the GOP has to crawl back and apologize.

As I said to others, this was a roast of the Republican Party. Wanda Sykes was an embarrassment to the human race. Not only were the jokes of bad taste, but they were crude. Someone needs to tell this idiot that Palin pulled out because there was a flood in her hometown.
They made a few cracks at Obama (2 or 3), but the majority of the event was dedicated to critiquing their biggest critics and The Republican Part. Just look:

* Sean Hannity, Sean Hannity said he’s going to get waterboarded for charity, for our armed forces. He hasn’t done it yet, I see. You know, talking about how he can take a waterboarding. Please. Okay, he can take a waterboarding by someone you know and trust, but let somebody from Pakistan waterboard, or Keith Olbermann. Let Keith Olbermann waterboard him. He can’t take a waterboarding. I can break Sean Hannity just by giving him a middle seat in coach.
* Dick Cheney, oh my God, he’s a scary man, scares me to death. I tell my kids, I says, “Look, if two cars pull up, and one has a stranger, and the other car has Dick Cheney, you get in the car with the stranger.”
* And finally, Sir, they even gave you grief about the dog, about Bo. You know, the animal rights people on you, “Why didn’t he get a rescue dog? Why didn’t he get a rescue dog?” Look, the man has to rescue a country that’s been abused by its previous owner. Let him have a fresh start with a dog.

If a member of our Armed forces was in an elevator with Pelosi, Reid, and Bin Laden, and only had two rounds of ammo, he would shoot Pelosi twice and strangle the other two.

What I would wish on all these lovely, advanced, mature souls* is that they harvest exactly what they sow. Meanwhile, I will stand anywhere other than to next of them!!
I am really surprised how angry the left still is.. it isn’t enough to run the USA, They have to wish us all die? Why the hate, people? What does the left really want? Hate is born of frustrated desires.

Im not afraid to say it…I hope Obama’s kidney’s fail. There now its all even. The left was shocked to hear Rush wish Obama failed at implenting is plan for wealth redistribution, and I couldnt agree more with Rush on that idea. So, in turn, I hope Obama’s heart fails, I hope his eyesight fails, I hope his brain fails…wait, if hes a liberal [and we know he is] then it already has…

Keep in mind that this is the same crowd who think that a “woman’s right to choose” the death of her unborn child, is a virtue. Why would they show respect for mature humans who have achieved something?
I noticed that some in the British media are thinking this was ugly and out of line. And they wonder what Obama was thinking by laughing at it. Well, at least someone in the media understands.
Where are the Red Skelton’s of our age? Funny, observant, insightful? Oh how I miss him and his crowd. They never used hate to make a joke, never stepped on the chest of others to elevate their careers.
