The Obama administration is beginning to look like one of those clown cars. The door flies open and dozens of clowns pour out.

Christin Romer, the latest clown and chairwoman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors, attempted to snow host David Gregory on Sunday’s Meet The Press. Gregory wasn’t buying.

GREGORY: So back then during the campaign when Senator McCain talked about the strong fundamentals of the economy, it was then-candidate Obama and his team that roundly criticized McCain, saying he was out of touch, he didn’t get it, he didn’t understand how bad the economy was. And yet now the president’s talking about the strong fundamentals of the economy. So what’s different between then, the campaign, and now, except for the fact that the economy’s gotten dramatically worse?

ROMER: I think when the president says he’s focusing on fundamentals, what he means is — is we’re focusing on fixing the fundamentals; that we’ve always said we’re not looking at the ups and downs of the stock market, we’re looking for those crucial indicators: when are jobs turning around; when are sales turning around; when do we see consumers coming to life? That’s the kind of thing that — certainly that I’m looking at in terms of when’s the economy going to be doing better and when can we see some hope.

GREGORY: Are the fundamentals of this economy sound?

Clarification: This is Krusty the Clown. The one of Meet the Press was Christi the Clown

Clarification: This is Krusty the Clown. The one of Meet the Press was Christi the Clown.

ROMER: Well, of course the fundamentals are sound in the sense that the American workers are sound, we have a good capital stock, we have good technology. We know that, that temporarily we’re in a mess, right? We’ve seen huge job loss. We’ve seen very large falls in GDP. So certainly in the short run we’re in a — in a bad situation.

GREGORY: All right, but then what’s different between now and then, when the economy was in even better shape than it is now, when McCain was saying the fundamentals were strong and then-candidate Obama criticized him?

ROMER: I think — again, I think what we’re saying is that the, you know, where we are today is obviously not good. We have a plan in place to get to a good place. I think that’s the crucial — a fundamentally crucial difference, is to make sure that you have put in place all of the comprehensive programs that’ll get us back to those fundamentals.

Quick. Somebody tell the ring master to bring out the elephants. Because the clowns are bombing.

unfortunately, I haven’t a clue is to what is really going on, not really, like i do know what my financial situation is. Due to that, all of these problems we are having w/ this administration leaves me in the dark and i also think i’m not the only one who is in this position, however I do believe that alot of them out there are “blasting away” and do not have a clue as to what it is they are really disputing and due to this fact, when hate speech enters, uses this situation to overblow it even broader, serious trouble is on the verge.

Here we go: accusations of racism, aka “hate speech”. It’s the race card once again.

Dems think “our plan is so good, anybody who doesn’t like it must be a Hater”. It’s so incredibly lame to dismiss any dissenting opinion as “hate speech”. It’s just a tactic to avoid coming up with a fair, honest rebuttal.

Ahhh, I do believe that to accuse the president of having a deep seated hatred for white people is far far removed from “tactics”. What in the world are you thinking, KAJ? Obviously you’re not. You are a blank follower, a chunk of ignorant hubris……………….just who is playing the race card? “the race card” a direct parroting. And who is talking about a plan? Stop being so assuming. (typical, what else can be expected)

It is so obvious that this country is racist, stop choosing to remain blind. The big problem is that too way too many people really do not know anything at all. Most of then know only what their small world contains and the media which is without a doubt 80% hype, at least that was the% in 1980. So. being that the huge % of voters know absolutely nothing…………….we really need a parliament. Very very badly. This “right to vote” has all become obsolete. When that was established it make sense, but no, not today. Things change, times change. It is still on the books that a lantern must be on the left side of the carriage, it’s of course, no longer needed, but it does remain. and one day the people choice will become obsolete also. Really, we don’t know enough about anything to choose who is best suited to lead, not today, this must be changed MUST BE!

It’s obvious that Leftists are Racists and also use the values of the American people (such as thier opposition to racism) as weapons against them.

Leftists are the supreme racists in this country. No one should take heed to thier false complaining about it.

A good deal of those who are disputing at the town hall meetings really do not know what it is they are disputing only parroting bits and pieces of what they hear. A good example is the girl who was speaking about ” awakening the sleeping giant’, she has absolutely no idea what she was talking about, which was proven when she was interviewed. Unfortunately she sounded as tho she was an expert on the constitution, she knew nothing. She was used to speak on something she personally knew nothing about herself. It goes to show more than likely the majority of them are riled up and don’t know why.

Louise:
People in this country have learned a few things. The government LOVES to take money from people who worked to earn it, and give it to somebody else who did NOT earn it. The gov prints & spends money recklessly, Zimbabwe style. The gov routinely comes up with half-assed excuses for abusing the Constitution, and all three branches have assumed powers never granted to them in that document, in one way or another. They seem to be in collusion as well, because none of them have made any effort to reign in the others. This isn’t just since Obama was elected, it’s been building for a while. The gov has been acting as a pickpocket for a long time, but the Obama administration isn’t bothering to be discreet. They are in-your-face home invaders, metaphorically speaking.

THIS is why people are riled up. The health care scam that dems are trying to push is just another example of what has already been going on. The gov is simply getting greedier and they want more, bigger and faster than ever before. The bailout a few months ago may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. Add to that a rotten economy with unusual numbers of people losing jobs and homes. Now the gov tries to sell a horribly expensive idea, when a whole lot of people out there are hurting financially. It isn’t going to go over well, at least with the people that are expected to pick up the tab but not get anything from it.

Exactly, they have been lying and stealing for yrs. and yrs. Read Spencer, he referred to the “robber Kings and bandit Barons”, so what else is new. The only difference is this adm. is overt. Be grateful.

Louise, You pompous arrogant political bigots on the Left are really the last people to speak about “parroting” or having an idea about one is talking about.

Sorry Vince, I don’t understand what you mean when you say the left is the last to speak or have an idea about one is talking about. I can’t figure out what it is you’re trying to say, i understand what you’re saying w/the “parroting” but that’s all, the other makes no sense at all.

So Louise, the term, “awakened a sleeping giant”, where is that from and what does it mean if you don’t mind me asking you… I know from where and whence it came. Just wondering.

Oh I can’t wait… have to do it!!!

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto after the attack on Pearl Harbor said, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve”.
Time for that giant to awaken again but there are so many leftist moronic idiots out there worried about being pc and offending the other idiots of the world I fear it shall never happen. Country is full of sissies now all crying because someone hurt their little feelings. Get over it already. These people are all idiots and they say only what the king idiot has approved, they aren’t parrots they are PUPPETS and he is pulling their strings!
