Rachel Maddow’s disgusting homoerotic Tea Party “news” report

April 13, 2009, 7:11 am · 22 comments

Rachel Maddow and MSNBC have taken an official position on the Tea Party protests spreading across the country: They will attempt to belittle them by referring to them as “tea bagging,” a euphemism for an act performed by homosexual men.

In the attached video, lesbian Maddow uses the term “tea bagging” 63 times. 63 times.

According to one online definition, “teabagging” is “to lower one’s testicular sack into someone’s warm mouth as if dunking a tea bag into a steaming cup of water.”

What the hell are they putting in the water over at MSNBC?

Between Chris Matthews homoerotic dreams of Obama and Rachel Maddow’s dreams of having testicles, the lefty network has gone completely over the edge.

Are you kidding me…”lesbian Maddow,” I can’t figure out if you’re a real news site or a parody. In the unfortunate event you’re serious…how could anyone resist the urge to joke about “tea-bagging.” SERIOUSLY, TEA BAGGING, you can’t say that with a straight face no matter your political allegiance. And even if you claim MSNBC has taken a stance on the TEA parties, so has FOX.

It’s not homoerotic, women also do it to men.

It wasn’t a news report. It was in a show that is obviously all opinion. If you want to gripe about the media fine but don’t label things that aren’t news as news. That’s half the problem. The other half is people not thinking critically enough to tell when they are watching news or opinion. Get a BS detector.

You have to admit it is kind of strange that protesters would pick an activity to protest happenings in Washington that ends up being gay slang for gay acts. This made the rounds before getting to the point where someone could have came up with something new to call it. What happened to our party we’ve turned into a laughing stock.

Bill, perhaps you should study US history. We had this little even once called the Boston Tea Party.

Oh Rachel Maddow the hallmark of highbrow humor. I just hope her brilliantly sardonic juxtaposition of “tea-party” and “tea-bagging” of isn’t lost on all you fly over cretins out there who somehow manage to function without the benefit of a Rhodes Scholarship to an Oxford college.

Ouch, this one brought out the uglies didn’t it?

Those of us who are going to the Tea Parties don’t give a rat’s a$$ what the lefties are calling it, nor do we care that they will largely be ignored by the media, other than the belittling reports. We are going to make our statement – Taxes are beyond necessary to fund proper government functions, and we are being bled to fund social programs now and in the future.

Sam Adams led the original “tea parties” (since they boarded many ships and threw overboard thousands of pounds of tea) to bail out the ship’s captians who were being held hostage by the British Govt standoff with the citizens. That act, along with a series of other insignificant protests lit the fuse that became the Revolution and set up the greatest experiment in Liberty the world has ever known. The people spoke, and then they stopped speaking and acted on their belief in personal rights. So, belittle, or “sardonica(ly) juxtapose, all you want – the PEOPLE WILL SPEAK.

Just reread the above, sorry for the soapbox stand, but some of the folks around here need some history lessons before they are on the wrong side of the inevitable repetition of history.

DeeMac,

My intention was to belittle Maddow. Sorry if that was not obvious enough.

Rachel Maddow hosts an opinion show, not a news show. And for the most part, tea bagging is done as an insult, not as a homoerotic act. Beyond even that, a man could do this to a woman (and some probably do), so your ridiculous accusation is essentially moot.
Also, if you hate the media so much (which I assume is because of “TEH LIBARAL BIASES”), then why go in the same direction, just on the opposite side of the tracks?

As for the original tea parties: You all need a history lesson. The original tea parties were pretty massive (not little like DeeMac would like to lead you to believe), and they dumped tea overboard because they were protesting Tea taxes — not big government. It’s one thing to use iconic historical events to illustrate a point, but usually those points are at least somewhat parallel.

So, where can I keep up tp date in real time tomorrow, for all the latest tea party news? I’m sure there will be some tea party news here, but I’m looking for a stream of tea party news, as it happens. Especially videos, I’d like to see Tea Party videos as soon as people upload them. Any idea? Thanks.

Tea bagging is not a gay man sex act. it’s a prank that juvenile STRAIGHT dudes pull on each other. the reason for pointing out the use of the term “tea-bagging” is to show how out of touch these people are.

Rachel Maddow is a git. To her, a “smart” look at politics equates to shoving distasteful innuendo into our faces. And at the end of it all, she still manages to call her show “smart commentary” with a straight face. Why not have like-minded individuals like Andrew “Dice” Clay on your show, Maddow? Maybe then the nation wouldn’t confuse your show with actual news.

Bill Burke,

Get a clue it was not just Ratchel, almost all of MSNBC’s booNews fakers said teabagging. The backlash has not even been felt yet for them, but is coming.

I did not know about the term “teabagging” until this story. I’ve learned something today.

Disgusting, but still something.

How is it possible for someone so petty and immature to be anchoring a national news program? That is what is so scary to me. It would be even more frightening if she had viewers.

I could not possibly take her, or any other, news commentator seriously after hearing the word ‘teabagging’ 63 times in one speech. Political commentary should be delivered with dignity, except maybe on Comedy Central. Whenever my husband happens to have her program on, I wish I could slap that perpetual smirk off her face. God, I miss exemplary anchors like Hal Fishman…

Ok kids, this clip from Red Eye explains everything you need to know about Maddow & teabaggers. Carrie Keagan’s comments are maybe the best political analysis I’ve heard in years…

…the whole clip is very good, & it’s classic Red Eye.
