I’m glad I live in a fairly temperate area. The people in the central valley and the desert areas east of LA are really going to scream when they get their air conditioning bills during summer. The people in the Sierras are really going to scream when they get their heating bills during the winter. Hopefully they’ll all show up at the capitol with pitchforks and torches and get the libtards to stop this crap.

That’s the problem though. Politically speaking, it’s East and West Callifornia, with everyone east of I5 voting conservative. And no matter how much griping and how much it hurts them, it’s not going to change the dem dominated govt.

Oh yeah, they are after out power, be it oil and gas, wind farms, solar or whatever. THey want us to produce it and bear the cost, but then add it to a grid that includes several other states. And then the liberals constant attempts to prevent the production at all. We should be a grid of our own. We are, after all, bigger that 5-6 other states, especially the tiny Northeast states.

That might be why there is a push to make the electoral college votes be distributed by district, not winner take all. It would be a more fair way of doing it.
