Republican says all white representatives should vote against healthcare

November 20, 2009, 2:00 am · 19 comments

He said what? He said what? He said what?

He said what? He said what? He said what?

“You can’t vote for healthcare and call yourself a white man,” said…well…no one actually said that.

On the other hand, race monger Jesse Jackson, speaking to the Democratic Black Caucus, said, “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”

For some mysterious reason the media isn’t raising much of a fuss about Jackson’s blatant racism. Can you imagine how they would have howled if a white congressman or senator had stood up in front of such a distinguished group and made a similar statement? Or if a former governor of Alaska had uttered those words?

In a major oversight, Jesse told the Black Caucus what they can’t call themselves if they vote against healthcare, but didn’t offer any suggestions as to what they can call themselves. So please allow us to fill in the blank left by the Good Reverend.

What should a member of the Congressional Black Caucus call himself if he votes against healthcare?

A lame duck.

The old double standard is still alive and well in the USA!

Leave it to that racist Jackson to turn this thing into a racial matter. He has no shame.

It doesn’t matter what a white congressman says, the media will still call it racist.

Wow Jessie, Now there’s a unique idea! A new Health Care Bill called.. The Blacks Only Heath Care Bill.. voted on by only Black Congressional Members and paid for only by black taxpayers.. sounds like a plan to me.

Mark, Confucius say: Perhaps free speech should be expressed w/color blindness. Often it surprises us, w/ results that redefine our true friends. NFL,NBA,MLB, MUSIC etc, Many of these taxpaying groups don’t share obamavision, what’s to come & share your concerns. wadr

You are sir indeed a racist. Unless you are in government, it seems, US citizens regardless of color pay their taxes or else they will be sent off to prison. You may be upset with Jackson for he is indeed an idiot, but dont get it twisted. Not all black people are like this, nor do black people in general skirt their duties as citizens.

The point was as blacks, we will not have our blackness defined by Jesse’s small mindedness. If Health Care’s a bad Gov’t Spending Idea for America, the only color that counts w/ black taxpayers and congress should be the color green.

“You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”

Of course you can. You might even be called a sensible man who is free thinking and has looked at the facts and sided against supporting Obamacare, who is also black. Of if you like the plan you can vote for it and still be called a (sensible/non sensible what have you) man, who is black.

The race issue has about as much to with it as one who rides the train to work vs driving his car to work to call or not call himself a homeowner. What in the hell does owning a home have to do with driving a car or taking the train? As much as being Black, Chinese or White and voting on an issue does with the skin color of the voter.

“You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”

Good news for black women? They can vote against it I guess…

“You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”

“You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself BATMAN!”

That makes no sense, nor even pretext at sense, whatsoever. It is still more logical then the s*it that fell out of the dear Reverend’s mouth on this topic.

If you’re black and don’t vote for the Gov’t Takeover of Health Care.. you must apply to become white immediately! It’s the new Jesse Jackson Rule.

Jesse and Al are both racist and will pull the race card out when ever it suits them.

Yes they are & yes they do.

I will add that I have yet to meet a black person who is represented by Jackson or Sharpton. When these 2 demand justice, they really mean JUST-US. They are in it for themselves & a small group of cronies. That’s it, & if you pin your hopes & dreams on these 2, you will be disappointed.

Now I will say this Al hasn’t paid his taxes in a few years, so he isn’t helping out the cause at all.
