Jeremiah Wright is back. And this time he talks about the joys of Communism and touts his ties to Communists in El Salvador and Nicaragua and to Libya.
Of course, the good Reverend never expressed any of these things during the 20 years Barack Obama attended his church. Nooooooo. Never.
Here’s how Accuracy In Media reports it:
… Wright is being introduced in the video by Robert W. McChesney, co-founder of Free Press, an organization which has come under scrutiny for its links to the Obama Administration and dedication to the transformation and control of the private media in the U.S.
In an article in the socialist Monthly Review, “Journalism, Democracy, and Class Struggle,” McChesney declared, “Our job is to make media reform part of our broader struggle for democracy, social justice, and, dare we say it, socialism.”
This video, taped September 17, 2009, which captures Wright’s appearance at a September 17, 2009, anniversary celebration of Monthly Review, Wright said that while the “corporate media” provide a “binary lens” of the world, in such terms as “communist versus Christian,” Monthly Review offers what it calls “no-nonsense Marxism.”
He added: “You dispel all the negative images we have been programmed to conjure up with just the mention of that word socialism or Marxism.”
He called America “land of the greed and home of the slave.”
To repeat, not a word of this Hate America bile never bubbled up during the 20 years Barack Obama was seated in the front row of Reverend Wright’s church. Never. Not once.
Back then, Reverend Wright was just a kindly old preacher who organized ice cream socials and helped widows and children and Barack Obama was just a friendly community organizer.

I told Bo that this was gonna come back and bite him on the ass. He likes to be called “Bo”. He thinks it sounds macho. I guess his gramma never read him that book by Helen Bannerman, but I digress.
Rahm called me and asked, “what should they do?” “Rahm, its just like I told Cheney with the FBI, play dumb. I know he knows how to do that. Just have him flash that big phony smile, that I paid for, and read whats on the prompter. I’ll gin something up and messenger it over to you in an hour or so. Make sure that prompter works this time!” And, then I hung up on him. I’ve got a funny story about Rahm, but it’ll have to wait for another time.
