Head ‘em up, move ‘em out: Rounding up the RINOs

Robert Gibbs spent a lot of time Wednesday morning explaining how the White House doesn’t think Tuesday’s off-year elections really mean much of anything.

“I think there are a host of primaries that will affect 2010 next year that pit moderate Republican candidates and conservative Republican candidates,” Gibbs said. “I think many in the Republican Party hung out a sign … that moderates need not apply.”

Translation: “Holy crap! What are we going to do?”

The conflict here is simple. Democrats call a Republican moderate if he votes for healthcare, amnesty, stimulus, and Cap-and-Trade, if he’s pro-choice and loves big government.

Republicans, on the other hand, call those people Democrats.

Why is Gibbs, who is paid iwth taxpayer dollars, addressing political/campaign questions anyway. Shouldn’t he just refer those types of questions to the DNC? Gibb’s job is to convey to the people, via the news media, the policy decisions and actions of the president not to serve as a front man for the DNC or Obama’s campaign office.

ocmadam……my guess is that Gibbs was probably asked a question in regards to the election results. If he had NOT answer the question, or deferred it to the DNC, he would be accused of “dodging” the question. It’s a NO win and NO situation for this Administration, on just about everything, with the Republicans.

The conflict here is not that simple……the GOP/Republicans have shattered into so many pieces it’s like “who’s on first”, on a daily basis.
