ocmadam……my guess is that Gibbs was probably asked a question in regards to the election results. If he had NOT answer the question, or deferred it to the DNC, he would be accused of “dodging” the question. It’s a NO win and NO situation for this Administration, on just about everything, with the Republicans.

The conflict here is not that simple……the GOP/Republicans have shattered into so many pieces it’s like “who’s on first”, on a daily basis.

Why is Gibbs, who is paid iwth taxpayer dollars, addressing political/campaign questions anyway. Shouldn’t he just refer those types of questions to the DNC? Gibb’s job is to convey to the people, via the news media, the policy decisions and actions of the president not to serve as a front man for the DNC or Obama’s campaign office.
