I happened to check further into this incident because it seemed to me to have been from a longer while back than just the 17th of December. I was erroneous in that thinking. But anyway, huffing po has their piece on it, and it isn’t quite as skewed to the prog as normally expected. Several of the comments on it were also much less anti-gun than expected from the huffing po types. Of course, it is still not like they’re opening their eyes to facts all of a sudden, just a glimmer of sanity from an otherwise obviously unlikely source. Ignore news that counters the narrative. The media in the US are the root of nearly all of our political problems. I truly despise these people.

Lets face it, if it dosen’t fit the commiecrats agenda, the liberal media simply will refuse to publish it. Should the SHTF, the first place to take out will be the local propaganda outlets, you need to disrupt communications, one of the first things in the military manual.

This was reported as nauseum here (hometown news, dontcha know?) The deputy did all the work, did indeed get a medal for valor, but had to share the spotlight with some Johnny coie lately wje “helped her subdue the shooter until the police arrived.” It is my understanding she already had him subdued, but I guess no one wanted a woman, and a sheriff”s deputy (as opposed to SAPD) to get too much positive press. Pf course our newly elected sheriff is a woman, a retired Major General and is the first woman EVER ELECTED to the sheriff’s position in the history of the county, or about 250 years. The times they are a changin’ (i hope!)

This is the counter that I was expecting that I was talking about a couple of weeks ago, it is just that it wasn’t extensively covered, but it happened as I expected. This almost always happens (counter to a false argument by the liberals), but the media are complicit. Disgusting.

She should be given the medal indeed and lauded but of course she isn’t. Interestingly enough Fox didn’t cover this. Fox is getting on my nerves.

That is true Poppa. I am also quite surprised someone at the restaurant didnt have a weapon. I don’t even understand this 19 year old obviously it is horrible that he killed the ex-girlfriend, but there was no need after he did so to go after innocent people that had NOTHING to do with his drama. He deserved to get shot and I am happy the lady is getting a medal and she should probably get a nice vacation or something.

I find it interesting that I had to go to the San Antonio paper website to find the name of the perp, Jesus Manuel Garcia.
It isn’t that unusual for Mexican males to flip out when a GF breaks up with them. I suspected he was Mexican, but needed to check it out before I said anything. Remember, I used to be stationed in San Antonio, and lived right off of SW Military Drive, where this took place.

Surprise. Even with a ccp there are areas you can’t take a gun. SHe only had hers because she was a cop. The moron ran into the theatre while chasing a guy from a a restaurant outside. He and his lady had a fight and it spilled into the parking lot, then the theatre. The theatre is also in a relatively rough part of town.
