Scranton, PA is effectively bankrupt. “Scranton, PA’s, the state’s sixth-most-populous city (population of 76,089 in 2010 census), is down to its last $5,000 and has no way to pay salaries. The mayor wants an immediate tax hike of 29% and 78% over three years. In every sense of the word, Scranton is bankrupt.” Joe Biden’s home town… metaphor alert!

Yea all the employees got paid this week, Minimum Wage $7.50 per hour..See what happens when you let liberals play with YOUR money? They screw the pooch every time. I guess the mayor must have the same IQ as Joe. Lets see list all the cities that are in trouble and then list the political party that’s in charge…I see a pattern here of Libturds running the cities into the ground, Just Like the big guy is trying to do to the entire country. Libtuds, Can’t live with ‘em, and Can’t beat them with a stick.

Yeah you would…
You don’t know why…but you would.

Just recycling something you saw on a bumper sticker at a Occutard rally.

The mayor of Scranton, Chris Doherty, is…….Surprise! A Democrat. Just another city bankrupted by liberal big spenders. The sad thing is the residents of Scranton may dump Doherty but they’ll elect another Donk.

It’s the beginning of a downward spiral in America, first the cities go bankrupt, then the states, finally the country. Thank you Democrats.

In the Yahoo story I read about this yesterday, never one time was his party affiliation mentioned. I had to google him to confirm my initial suspicions.

It doesn’t say, not that it matters he’s still wrong, but is that 29-78% property or income tax? Wondering just how loony his grand plan is.

It’s an increase of those percentages. Not a tax of those percentages. Still pretty outrageous.

But is it an increase on property tax or income tax? Just wondering who he was trying to screw.

Yet another story of the union dolts wringing the neck of golden goose to attempt to get more money out of it, and bingo. The goose is dead. Coming to a liberal run city near you soon.

No no no, it isn´t the mayor who is being the insane one in this story, check it out.

1) When he decided to go on minimum wage, including for himself, the city still had a surplus of 5000 bucks instead of a debt superior to the city´s GPD. ;-)

2) Unions and their people know the city is bankrupt, yet they still take the city to court. There have been legal battle a whole decade before the current situation.

3) The city council want to solve the problem by simply borrowing to keep things running instead.

4) How do you avoid bankrupcy? Prohibit it, of course!

5) Public itself have had well enough time to see how things are going and force all those bleating morons out of their offices, then dump tar and feathers over them.
This is apoliticalism in all its glory! The country can go straight to the gutter as long as there is fashion, as long as there are basketball games and “stars” on TV, isn´t it?? I solemnly present my middle finger at all those politics dunt matters pinhead-brained slugs.

What is amazing is not only the depth (or perhapse the debt?) of their insanity but how predictable this stupidity is.
