Senator John Barrasso wants YOU to apply for an Obamacare waiver!

by editor on July 22, 2011

We’ve long thought the way out of the Obamacare mess is to let the damn bill stand, but make everyone exempt from it. That way, the President gets to keep his “signature achievement” and we get to escape his half-witted Marxist quackery.

john barrasso

They've already granted 1500 exemptions. Why not 310,000,000?

Our new BFF, Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) is on the same page. We quote from his statement:

“As of today, over 3.2 million Americans have received a get out of Obamacare free pass from the Administration. If the law worked well, companies and unions would not demand a way out of its expensive mandates. Each waiver demonstrates that the President’s health care law is a complete failure. The law continues to crush jobs, increase premiums and encourage government controlled health care.

“It’s not fair that a particular group of Americans, including union employees, don’t have to abide by the law. Millions of other Americans across the country deserve the same freedom.

“Next week, I will introduce a bill that will allow all Americans to apply for a waiver from the President’s health care law. This law will deliver choice to Americans who want to get the care they need, from the doctor they want, at a price they can afford.”

The word “choice” used in a context other than abortions is a change we can believe in. We would love to see more bills like this introduced week after week until Obama retires. Hopefully, in January 2013.

Surely Democrat and media heads will explode but not to worry, flying feces rarely causes injury.

Nice move! But I say let’s overturn the whole damn monstrosity, tar and feather it, and ride it out of town on a rail to emphasize that we the people understand what a monstrosity it really is, and that we do NOT want to see its like again.

Aside from the fact that Obama-care is unconstitutional, it only works if everybody can opt out via a special exemption. That list includes the very people who are imposing this on the people, Congress, as well as almost every union in America, including the 1 that pushed the hardest, the SEIU. The purple people beaters got themselves exempted while promoting it’s passage.

I’m with you. We don’t need it, don’t want it and we told them that when they ignored us to shove it down our throats. Unfortunately; we didn’t win the senate and are still paying for it.

The Amish are exempt. I’ve just established a website for the displaced and disenfranchised Amish of America.

Okay, so I am now officially Amish….except for all the no electricity, farming with a horse, and no car thing.

I guess I am one of those reform minded Amish….but Amish none the less.

I guess I would be one of the Amish who could actually access your site. Ummm, since they (we) are Amish, just how many hits do you expect?

The government wants you to have health insurance because it’s for your own good, so they will threaten you with fines, prison, and even violence if you don’t get it. Did I say it’s for your own good?

Only in the mind of a government bureaucrat or kool-aid drinking drone does the above statement make any sense.

LOL! We would overrun them with exemption applications and they wouldn’t have time to enforce the law! Only problem is, how much would it cost us in bureaucrat salaries and overtime to process all that paperwork? Not to mention all the new government leeches thay would have to hire to process the paperwork.

Senator Barasso makes me proud to be the holder of a Wyoming nonresident fishing license… and I think I’ll take a week at the beginning of August and reward his state by spending a lot of money as a touring fly angler.

This year alone the federal government is spending over $100 billion to implement this heinous monstrosity. That’s $3,333/each of the highly inflated figure of uninsured (30 million). That does nothing to affect any medical costs, it just grows government, pure overhead.

Thank you Senator Barasso. Where have you been hiding? The only people who should not be able to get a waiver, are obomie. Moochelle, and their two ugly daughters, Sinky and MeStinky.

Wahoo! I will be the first to sign up! I am outraged by Obamacare…the government has no idea what kind of health insurance I want or need. I also hope that Medicare is in the dumpster by the time I’m eligible. I want to choose my own coverage and doctors, etc. If you use the analogy of car insurance, as the progressives so like to throw out, I choose what kind of coverage I need if I CHOOSE to drive. I would very much favor a voucher system where we buy our own coverage and it should be on a sliding scale. When you think about how much Lasik and cosmetic procedures have dropped as a result of competition, it only makes sense that the cost of healthcare would drop subject to the open market. Small government, free markets and personal responsibility=TEA!

Destroy the bill and everybody who supports it or advances it’s so-called benifits. Destroy the union leaders who’ve managed to entangle us in it and disentangle themselves and their union drones from it. As Kreese said above: “Small government, free markets and personal responsibility=TEA!”
I think I’ll have another cup myself!

If this Bill does get through the House and miraculously through the Senate, wont the President just veto it at his desk?

Probably, but if congress has the votes, they can over-ride his veto.

It takes 2/3 of the Senate to override a veto. We will not get a repeal of this disgrace until the GOP has control of the Senate, House and Oval Office.

…and 2/3 of the House. According to Senate.gov fewer than 10% of vetoed bills have been overridden.

But what the Republican Senate needs to do right now, is send common sense bills to the Senate and the Oval Office every day, and have them turned down. And publicize the fact. Let the people see that what they want in government is being stopped by the Democrats.

Sooner or later, we will be given a “partial” social security waiver. We will be exempt from collecting benefits but not “contributing”. This is because flying monkeys broke into the social security lock box and ate all its contents, leaving nothing but flying monkey feces (i.e. an IOU from Uncle Sam.)

I’m all for what ever it takes to kill off this piece of shit legislation. At least Senator Barrasso has come up with an idea that the majority of this nation can agree with. If the members of congress can have a waiver why not those that elected them.

We are being raped and we need to wake up. I dont think that Obama should be left with the idea that he won a big thing here either if anything it should be immediately repealed when possible.

Thanks, & yes, I will keep saying it because it’s true. So here goes a few…

Liberalism, ideas so good they have to be manditory.

Liberalism always generates the exact oposite of it’s stated intent.

Liberals never understand that what they are doing is wrong, they believe they have not done enough of it yet.

Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you.

Capitalism is boss.

Most leftists believe in the 10 pillars of communism over the Bill of Rights.

& last but not least, Socilism is for the people, not the socialist.

Most of those things are heard on 1 of 2 radio shows. The Warroom with Quinn & Rose, & The Wilkow Majority with Andrew Wilkow. They are the 2 best shows most people don’t know about.

Remember when we were guaranteed the Equal Protection of the laws?

Now we have Democrats exempting their friends, constituents, and contributors from the enslaving and debilitating laws they pass.
And here in California, we actually have a Democrat governor that threatened to cut state funding to legislative districts that don’t support his plans.

Democrats have a long tradition of punishing their enemies with unjust laws and rewarding their friends with taxpayer dollars. But they’re getting bolder lately. At the rate they’re going, they’ll be full on Khmer Rouge by the end of this decade.

poppajoe49 July 23, 2011 at 4:39 am

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Lanny, you MUST be mistaken!
The Demorats are the party of the sheeple, they would never punish anyone just for disagreeing with them!
Rewarding their cronies? NO WAY! They are merely showing gratitude for those that support them by doing right by everyone, just like they promised! I mean after all, didn’t Clinton promise gays unfettered access to join the military, and be open about their gay status? What about marriage? Didn’t he promise them that they would be able to marry, just like straight couples? Minorities, he promised them all kinds of opportunities for education, employment, and housing. Aren’t all minority groups now at 100% employment and home ownership, with Doctorates in untold numbers?
The Demorats are the party of kept promises and economic prosperity. To lose them as a party would totally devastate……………..no-one!

If it were BushCare instead of ObamaCare, can you imagine the media chasing down waiver recipients as they posted stories about cronyism, nepotism, and favoritism?

“Liberalism, ideas so good they have to be mandatory.” Excellent. How true, danybhoy.

Dhimmitude What does it mean?

Obama used it in the health care bill.

Now isn’t this interesting? It is used in the health care law.

Dhimmitude — I had never heard the word until now. Type it into Google and start reading.

Pretty interesting. It’s on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists..

It is a REAL word.

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad.

Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States .

Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be “gambling”, “risk-taking”, and “usury” and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as a American or Texan not Muslim, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because

I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penaltyand will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslimswill be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

I recommend sending this on to your contacts. American citizens need to know about it — I want a waiver from this crap PLEASE!

Hi You! I haven’t seen you in a while. I hope everything is good?

Your post is alarming. Is the word really in the law?

This is very alarming and disgusting. As a Christian I could say the same thing: “Life is not promised to anyone. When I die I go to Christ. I am NOT of this world, I just live in it for the time being.” All those are good reasons (to me) to not be concerned about insurance.

This is insanity and yet another proof that he is a Muslim.
