Words you never thought you'd hear: "So, George, can you give me some advice on winning over that Hollywood crowd?"
Comeuppance. Yeah, that’s the word we’ve been trying to think of.
CEOs and Hollywood stars got their comeuppance last weekend at the annual Kennedy Center Honors. Much to their chagrin, they discovered that George Bush was much warmer and more hospitable than Barack Obama.
Here’s how Variety, show so-called show biz bible, explains the comeuppance:
The show itself honoring Bruce Springsteen, Robert De Niro and Mel Brooks, among others, was a resounding hit, but the White House seemed to be still traumatized by the incursions of the social-climbing, state dinner-crashing Salahis.
While President Bush in past years shook every celebrity hand and posed for photos with visitors at the White House reception, the Obamas remained aloof, fleeing to their box at the Kennedy Center.
Stunned by recent security breaches, the White House kept guests shivering outside in 30-degree weather, opening the reception 10 minutes late and shuttling guests through 25 minutes of repeated screenings and pat-downs, all of which took place outside.
Several stars grumbled; one suggested to a social secretary that the Obama staff study the Academy Awards for lessons in celebrity management.
The story reaches a sad Hollywood dénouement:
White House staffers maintained a stony distance during this weekend’s events. Rahm Emanuel, the chief of staff, sat with his wife for 20 minutes before Obama’s brief presentation Sunday, and hardly anyone approached him with a greeting, nor did he circulate.
“I never thought I’d miss the Bushes,” said one prominent Hollywood actor, “but this place seemed a lot warmer when they were here.”
It was probably just global warming, but don’t you worry, Hollywood. Barack Obama is over there in Hopenchangen fixing that little problem, too.

Celebrity management??? I have a couple suggestions, but I don’t think they would like them.

I know that Clinton was loads of fun and although Bush in comparison didnt have a party every other week at the Whitehouse he did try to make guests (like the Queen of England) feel like at home. I care less about celebrities but indeed they voted for change and this is what they got.
The Obamas must be awfully lonely up there on their pedestal.
He’s going to keep having more trouble as his term progresses. He had zero experiance running anything before he ran for President, & when he became President, less then 10% of his administration has private sector experiance or have met a payroll. He does’nt understand economics, & he does’nt know that the bottom line is this…CAPITALISM IS BOSS. Obama cannot fight the laws of economics, & he cannot grow the economy with gov’t spending. It does’nt matter how much you wanted a black President, or that you like Obama’s speeches, it does’nt beat Reagan’s old question…Are you better off today then you were 4 years ago. Obama, his teleprompter, & the MSM will have no answer for that question.
Finally! I finally find some like-minded viewpoints! The people that are running the show for the past year (and I have a long list of them) are truly sickening. For starters, Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank, Robert Gibbs, Cass Sunstein, Van Jones, Jennings (safe school czar), and many other czars for that matter, Napolitano, Sorros, and a myrid of others. These people get away with things that are so absolutely wrong and they are vicious people. Nothing short of kicking them out of office and leaving them out on the street with nothing but their pathetic elitest fantasies would bring them down a few notches where they could get a good dose of reality and a swift kick in the ass!

I don’t give a fcuk (French Connection United Kingdom! Ha! You thought I just miss spelled f*ck!) about what some celebrity thinks of that fool Obama now. Let’s see if they can keep congruent and turn against him when he needs public rallying support or if he suffers brain damage and thinks he can win a 2nd term.
Obama is a typical corrupt Chicago boy… He is all warmth and promises and big lies on how much he will give you during a campaign and then does a 180 when he is in power… Until the next election!

Barry says he is for small business and medium size business… But he wants to tax them to hell and back. Until he needs a vote and then he is Mr Small Business’s Best Friend.
Obama used the asses and faces of the nation’s Tinseltown set to get this message of Hope and Change (massive corruption) to the dumb youth who bought the hype on Twitter and Facebook… Then Obama snubbed those A Listers and says they can kiss his almighty ass! Until he needs them to get back to work whoring to the masses and spreading the propaganda on how awesome he is for the next election cycle.
