“Cheers” was a very funny television show. But it was a damn drama compared to what Joy Behar puts on the air every Monday to Friday night.
Clearly, Cheers star Ted Danson is too stupid to understand the irony of an entertainer involved in politics complaining that another entertainer is involved in politics.
The combination of Joy Behar’s sparkling wit and Ted Danson’s glittering intelligence is a marvel to behold.

I’d rather listen to Sam Malone than this jagoff.
How smart can the guy be? He showed up for an event with Whoopi Goldberg wearing blackface. Three more IQ points and he’d be a carrot.
I see that Danson is making the rounds hawking the latest in his line of gag gifts, the Poindexter Wig, Glasses and Funny Nose. Too bad he missed Halloween. What a boob! Did you see the first gag gift he was selling? Its called the Whoopie Goldberg Cushion. They’ve got one over at The View.
I wonder if he thinks those glasses give him an air of intelligence. His character Sam was pretty dumb, guess he did not have to act too much.
Gee Ted, aren’t we — along with the oceans — supposed to be dead by now? I’m sure your prediction was just off by a couple of years. Not to worry, though. Rush, like the rest of us, cannot avoid the ineludible extinction soon to befall mankind.
So, Ted, should we not listen to you either, after all you are an entertainer too, right? Come to think of it your statement 21 years ago about Miami being under water in 10 to 20 years was the most entertaining thing you’ve every said.
Kenservatized says you shouldn’t listen to Ted Danson because he’s just an entertainer.
Kenservatized: Shame on Ted Danson.
I think Joy wanted Ted to say “Glenn Beck” so bad she would have kicked him if the table had of allowed.
Ted Danson criticizing the religious right? That’s amusing coming from him… Danson, who dressed in blackface for a Friars Club roast ceremony. Danson, who used the “N” word more than a dozen times that evening. Danson, the man who embarrassed the Friars Club so much the head of the Friars issued an apology the following day.
Excerpt from an article about Danson and his blackface performance:
————-
“…Danson’s routine fell short of comical for many of those attending the annual closed-door affair in the grand ballroom of the New York Hilton. Celebrities on hand who stared in disbelief when Danson entered in blackface included dais guest Jasmine Guy, Sugar Ray Leonard, Shari Belafonte, Vanessa Williams, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Anita Baker, Beverly Johnson and Mr. T. Others in attendance included Michael Douglas, Robert Guillaume and talk show host Montel Williams, who stormed out of the ceremony”.

And he actually has the nerve to criticize others? No, I don’t think I can take Danson seriously… He lost all credibility a long time ago.
Ted Danson:
Just because you have white hair and wear glasses it doesnt make you a smarter less gayer version of Anderson Cooper. You have no more rights to tell people who to listen to or what to do than any other ACTOR/ENTERTAINER out there. If Rush does what he does for entertainment purposes what is it to you? You envious or something?
Am I supposed to take my political views from you?
