TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS MADE TO WEAR BURQAS. Out in the West Texas town of El Paso. I fell in love with a Muslim girl. Night-time would find me in Achmed’s cantina; Music would play and Fatima would whirl. Sorry Governor Perry, it just doesn’t quite sound the same.

Big thumbs up for Marty Robbins!
Big thumbs down for the decay of western civilization.

Marty rocks! El Paso is about my favorite song of all time and normally I’m a big rock and roll guy. I grew up on Hendrix, big Brother and the Holding Company, etc., but Marty is the shit!

And I’m usually a fan of stuff like Yes & ELP. (If it doesn’t have a gong and a 5-minute keyboard solo, then it ain’t music!) But every now and then I need Marty Robbins!

You should finish the Muslim version CO2 – you’ve made a great start. Might I suggest something like …”I see the white puff of smoke from the car bomb, I feel the shrapnel go deep in my chest,…”
I agree Marty is cool!!!

Singing is one talent I did not get which is a darned shame, because I remember songs the second time I hear them, and I LOVE to sing. But one I can sing fairly well is Joplin’s version of Bobby McGee, so It’s my go-to when I want to show off. Oh and I do Waylon Jennings pretty well too. I guess I just have a whiskey-drinking smoker’s voice, lol. (I do Cher OK too, but I refuse to buy her music now – though I will pirate it whenever I get the urge
)

So, did Rick Perry forget to tell the rest of us that he put that “D” back after his name?

Interesting, they can make them wear burqas, but can’t make them speak English.

I usually do the crossword with my [_]3, and try to do a couple of the big syndicated ones on-line on Sundays, Chi. Trib, Wash.Post. It’s been creeping in there for years. Allah, Islam, Koran, mosque, Imam, yadda yadda. Seems like it’s been picking up the last year or so, almost blatant.
I’ll pay a little closer attention and report back.

Actually, it varies with the area of the state. You forget our size. THe difference between Houston and Dallas is like being in a different state. Same with San Antonio. El Paso is only nominally Texan. Juarez sort of oozes across the border.

The big girl on the right is Delta Burka.
I can’t believe a school would promote such degradation of women. Is it a warning from our government schools – a premonition? The last several years Mohammed has been the number one newborn’s boy’s name in England.

Why can’t you believe that a school would promote degradation of women? They have been for years. So long as they have been run by liberals, they have been pushing the currents of misogyny and racism. Women are not as good as men, so they need extra help. Blacks are not as good as whites, so they need extra help. Hispanics are not as good as Anglos, so they need extra help. It’s just that now Christians are not as good as muslims, but they don’t GET extra help. Because they are, ya know, Christians.

If my child was told to dress up in Islamo-fascist gear, I would pull my kid out of that school. I have zero respect for any cult that demands women be treated worse than a common goat, and that they think killing is the right thing to do. ESPECIALLY the innocent. NO ONE should ever be forced to “respect” this cult. Should we learn about it? Yes. Know your enemy.

Damn if my grand daughter would be wearing one of these rags because the school said she had to. Where’s those that clamor about seperation of church and state. The wearing of a burkas is required by a sect of the religion of peace.
It’s time to take back the public schools and drive the leftist from it. It’s no wonder the NEA opposes a standard test for teachers. Hell if I’ve got to go through all the requirements yearly to keep my job, teachers should have to prove they have knowledge and can actually teach.

And another one from the Lone Star State. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it; “What are you interested in?”

“Their English teacher, Dewey Christian, who did not outline any off-limits subject matter, reprimanded the two students in front of their peers and threatened them with zeros if they didn’t rewrite their papers,…”
Dewey? ’nuff said. I think all those “and how” jokes growing up scared him for life.

“So be glad, heavens, and those who live in them! How terrible it is for the earth and the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, filled with rage, knowing that his time is short!” Revelation 12:12 ISV
It is not without precedent to liken great hosts of nations combined together to the sea. The restless, unstable elements of mankind are illustrated by the characteristic restlessness of the sea.
“But the wicked are like the tossing sea, For it cannot be quiet, And its waters toss up refuse and mud.” Isaiah 57:20
Similarly, John spoke of a “wild beast ascending out of the sea,” that is, out of that vast portion of mankind that is estranged from the true God; and his mention, in symbolic language, of diadems and a throne again links the idea of a political organization with this beast out of “the sea.” (Re 13:1, 2)
I find eschatology (Biblical study of end times) very interesting when compared to what is developing in our lifetime.

Hahah – my first boyfriend, in 4th grade, was a little blonde kid named “Dewey Hicks”. My pet name for him was doohickey!
yeah, we broke up by 5th grade when Eric Dodd wooed me with magic tricks. Hey, what can I say? Eric had a real live guinea pig he would pull out of a hat!

LOL, my first girlfriend that I knew about was in 5th grade. I went to Catholic School, and she went to public school. I didn’t know she was my girlfriend until I was informed by a friend of hers that she decided we were “going out”!
Years later, when I was hanging out in a club at the shore, I ran into a girl I went to school with, and she informed me we were Kindergarten Sweethearts! I had no idea. I was clueless about women then.
Come to think of it, I am still clueless about women, at least their mental process.

It seems there is more to this story than originally aired, and it REALLY STINKS – “An Advanced Placement World Geography teacher at a Texas high school who encouraged students to dress in Islamic clothing also instructed them to refer to the 9-11 hijackers not as terrorists – but as “freedom fighters,” according to students who were in the class.” – http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/students-told-to-call-9-11-hijackers-freedom-fighters.html

Well as long as we are having dress up day what up a transgender day? Dress in a pig costume day? Dress like a Hell’s angel day? Dress like a Rabbi day? How about on the playground we play cowboys and Muslims? I think in all honesty I would have been arrested for beating that teacher senseless and I would have no regrets and no apologies and would plead guilty to simple assault.

There’s more to this story. Damn teacher has instructed the class they can no longer call those who strap bombs onto their bodies and blow things up sucide bombers or terrorist. The must be called freedom fighters because they are conducting a Holy War. If this isn’t Islam being taught, I don’t know what is. The crickets from all the so called 1st Amendment supporters is deafening.
It’s no wonder more parents are going to home schooling.

If I had any kids, I would home school.
By the time my kids would have finished third grade, they would be smarter than most High School grads from public schools.
