We try to do our part. Remeber too that many of those gun owners are hunters, but plenty more are living in remote areas that have extensive response time from law enforcement (an area close to San Antonio has a sheriff and 5 deputies to cover 1600 square miles. Until the Deputies get funds for rocket packs, they local home owners have to be prepared for anything.

It’s the same here. A county about 2,330 square miles in size, a population of 2,000, and only 7 lawmen to take care of the entire area. That includes one state cop who lives in town and one who lives about 60 miles away. There isn’t much crime though, most everyone here owns guns and are not afraid to use them if need be.

I probably should not post this but, if the Arlington, Texas Police Department ever arrives at my home to confiscate my weapons, I will kill every Police Officer in the department. Every one of them that steps on my property to take my property. If that is what it takes to fight tyranny and support liberty. I will not be like the Jews in 1938 NAZI Germany.
