The agonies of the Left: an ocean of tears. “The freeloader’s manifesto. As rjmadden notes in the comments, replace ‘capitalism’ with ‘adulthood’ and all becomes clear.” The “having jobs” one would probably be out of reach for these bozos even if the economy wasn’t in a chronic Obama recession.

In other words, quit your job and don’t pay your bills, then just wait for nanny government to take care of you.

That was pretty stupid. At least that’s the comment I left on it. I guess if you have the kind of job those guys are destined for, (minimum wage), it might seem that way. But if they had gotten degrees in something useful, there would also be rewards.

Uhhhhh. Even before Government existed, one had towork. Food isn’t going to jump in your mouth, or onto your fire. Water will not flow into your mouth or jar. In fact the jarcannot make itself. Cloth must be woven, then cut and sewn into covereing for the body. Even skins have to be removed from their original owners and prepared for use. And those owners aren’t going to give them up gently. To survive, one has to work. Eventually we got to bartering, then later to “paying” with an assortment of objects. Cows, shells, whatever. Roman military were paid in salt, hence “salary.” Then we figured carring paper money representing the real thing was more convenient, but EVERYONE has to work. Why is this so hard to grasp?

agreed.. without jobs (task assignment & enhancements through specialization), and a reasonable means for collecting debt, the only ways left to allocate resources require conflict & bloodshed

Which still requires work. You don’t win a conflict sitting on your ass waiting for the other group to see the light/

This is twitter, right? While I love the creativity the internet brings, twitter is useless and is a source for people to make “brilliant” points in only 140 characters. It’s impossible to make a valid point or argument in 140 characters unless you are of simple mind. There are countless avenues and philosophical beliefs that a person could go down while talking about heated or controversial subjects. Books can express the complexity of this, twitter can not.

While I understand the appeal to own others on twitter, it’s all but useless. We need to have conversations with our family, neighbors, and coworkers, not tweet. ‘So and So tweeted this…’ who cares? There are millions of us out there, and all we need to do is change the heart and mind of one person, twitter won’t accomplish that.

I have about a thousand followers on Twitter, and most of the people I associate with don’t bother to just spew their opinions or “sage words of whatever”. They mostly use tweets to link conservative news sources, blogs and stories. It is a way to get “citizen journalists” the exposure they need, in an attempt to kill the old media. When someone uses extreme profanity or simply posts their own stream of rambling consciousness – they get blocked.

Like anything else, it’s a tool. And like any other tool – it can be used for good or for stupid. Mostly stupid though ;)

I have quite a few followers on Twitter, but I don’t follow them. Other than Fred Thompson, who IS capable of making a good point in 140 characters or less.

Some Fredisms.

Report: private sector jobs up 23% – in Cuba. Great. The one way Obama hasn’t made us more like a third-world country.

Obama considering American Express CEO for next Treasury Secretary. Ah, someone who’s experienced with over-extended credit.

Matt Damon: “I need to pay more taxes” Hey Matt – Paris just called to offer you a great deal on Gerard Depardieu’s old house.

Holder grants feds sweeping new powers to store dossiers on US citizens. You know, like those things Nixon almost got impeached for.

Report: Medicare & Medicaid made $50B in bad payments in 2011. Under Obamacare, that’ll become known as “Tuesday”

Obama in MI: right-to-work “about giving you right to work for less money” Yes, much better to be unemployed from a high paying job

On MSNBC, Howard Dean: “everybody needs to pay more taxes, not just the rich”. Don’t worry, Howard. Obamacare covers that, too

Joe, I think that’s the point, make it so simple so the simpletons can understand it.

Karmaa, I don’t think it was originally planned for a conservative message, it is too simplistic, and has a libtard feel to it.
I never got into it.

I agree. BUT, we have to turn their dirty tricks against them. Let them use it for updates on Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy drama – while WE use it to quickly get our message out and about.

Seriously, while it seems that we are preaching to the choir at times, the drumbeats DO sound out. The more people who get connected, who see what CAN be done with this stupid little application – the better we can create a new, honest media.

There are a few sites that I have watched blossom over the past few years. The Blaze, of course and Brietbart, but several others like Pat Dollard’s (which can occasionally get a bit “conspiracy”).

Here’s the thing… should there be a revolution or a revolt – THIS is the way that people will be informed. And that alone is reason to be involved!

Did you HAVE to mention the Kardouchians?
Between them and Pam Anderson, I just want to smash my TV.
I absolutely hate them, and find them disgusting!
Men that like them (we know the ONLY reason), IMHO, are hardly better than cavemen, and should do GEICO commercials!
Vapid, stupid, shallow, hollow, freakin’ ugly, are only a couple of adjectives that I can think of to describe them.

I agree with Karmaa on this. Conservatives have been sleeping or taking it easy or just relaxing or letting people do the work for way too long. If we want changes we have to do the work even if it means using the tools of the idiots to our favor. We need to be aggressive and play the game even if we get haters. Others around the world are literally loosing their heads doing their best, we have no excuse. It is best to use the tools of the idiots to our favor than not. Those of us who are believers in Christ/G-d need to understand this as well. How then will the Word of G-d be heard and seen and read throughout all the world if not with the tools available to us? Sure we not need be of the world but we are in it and we have to play the game but change the rules to our favor. We need more people on this side of the court not less and not the same number. We age out, we die out we sick out so we need numerous replacements. Keep it real but we have to play the game.

If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.
68 characters with punctuation and spaces with no shortened words got that point across pretty well, didn’t it?
I don’t twittle or anything. To suggest a point can’t be made succinctly in 140 characters might not be accurate, however.
That Einstein guy was pretty smart.
