The grassy knoll was on the right side of the street. The extreme right side.

Aha! Kennedy's assassination was caused by the Illuminati. Or Barry Goldwater. Or some kind of right wing extremists.

Aha! Kennedy's assassination was caused by the Illuminati. Or Barry Goldwater. Or some kind of right wing extremists.

A new theory claims Lee Harvey Oswald wasn’t responsible for the assassination of JFK. Neither was LBJ nor Cuba nor the unions nor the Mob. No, it was caused by “right wing hatred running wild.”

This theory is advanced in “A President was killed the last time right-wing hatred ran wild like this,” an article written by Eric Boehlert at Media Matters.
Boehlert draws heavily on his experiences in the 1960s which, we assume, may have included ingesting numerous mind-altering substances.

“I’ve been thinking a lot of Kennedy and Dallas as I’ve watched the increasingly violent rhetorical attacks on Obama be unfurled,” Boehlert says, “as Americans yank their kids out of class in order to save them from being exposed to the President of the United States who only wanted to urge them to excel in the classroom. And as unvarnished hate and name-calling passed for health care ‘debate’ this summer.”

“The radical right, aided by a GOP Noise Machine that positively dwarfs what existed in 1963, has turned demonizing Obama–making him into a vile object of disgust–into a crusade,” he continues. “It’s a demented national jihad, the likes of which this country has not seen in modern times.”

Unfortunately for Boehlert, all the individuals and groups suspected in the Kennedy assassination were of the leftist variety. Oswald was an communist wannabe. LBJ was liberal. Cuba was and is communist. And union’s? Pretty much leftists.

So pardon us if we’re confused as hell by Boehlerts’ theory.

But, then, we’re guessing that he’s confused, too.

this is really tha biggest example how can media tell lie 100 times and this lie becomes known fact. What i mean is this big conspiracy behind JFK assasination – seriously WTF? He was killed by Oswald – theres 0 and i mean ZERO proof that he was killed in some big conspiracy. He wasnt killed by mafia, cuba, russian or CIA.
Seriously – if CIA wanted to kill kennedy why do it in front of hundreds of peoples with cameras? This is the most retarded idea i ever heard.

I seem to recall that Johnson raised Kennedy to icon status by implying that he stood against hate and everything that Barry Goldwater stood for. The implication being that Goldwater was somehow responsible or supportive of those who killed Kennedy.

Some things never change

Dont forget Obama has the world’s best assassination insurance….Joe Biden. If that doesnt work, his back up Nancy Pelosi should be able to insure his safety.

And Bush was never a target based on the hate mongering fostered by the Democrats during his administration. What scares me is that there are people out there that truly believe the drivel that the far left pyukes out.

Bush was critisized and mocked. But the left still recognised him as president. The right are currently acting like traitors

I get the feeling that the left secretly wants Obama assassinated, or should I say martyred, in some sick scenario where conservatives are blamed so they can justify a “final solution” to rid the world of those who disagree with them.

Its just because the right wingers are all racist and kennedy was doing things to help the black population become more equal….thats the reason for everything else…why not the reason the right wingers killed kennedy?

Of course I am joking but..I could see them making this point..

This article almost made me laugh. Everyone has seen how the liberals acted during Bush years. The protests were violent compared to Tea party rally and senior citizens at town hall meetings asking questions. The left may not have guns, but they are great at vandalism. They are good at tormenting us daily with their whinning and stupid rhetoric. The left is constantly upset that we have a right to have a gun for hunting or safety and would like to take that from us. However, they believe it is ok for them to abort babies or leave a full term baby on a table to starve because abortion had not taken place. We know who the violent ones are. We are just worried about our freedom, America’s future. The left is the ones that are constantly thinking or writing about violence. They almost have an ego as big as Obama’s and can not believe any one would dare call them a name or point out their stupidity.

Who believes that Oswald shot Kennedy? Seriously? I guess you also believe that 9/11 was in fact the Taliban. Ya, even a jihad can bend the laws of physics and burn down a steel building. Not to mention the government engineers backing this up by hiding all the evidence. ‘I don’t subscribe to your version of reality’ comes to mind.

As one of your leftists, even I think this guy is off his rocker.

There’s a tension that’s in the air these days, but I don’t think it’s all that different from any other time. During Bush’s administration, it was the Left up in arms over his power-centralizing policies and war. During Clinton’s administration, it was the Right against NAFTA, BJs, etc etc. It’s always the same story with a different face, probably right on back to George Washington–and really, it’s a matter of balance. The Left needs the Right to curb its worst tendencies, and the Right needs the Left for the same.

Well, we’ve just seen yet again another organized example of the “free speech” left at Digg, burying another conservative article. who was gaining Diggs rapidly. They just can’t stand letting the other side air their views. Such a fearful group. You guys need a hobby. LOL.

Thanks Blinker1315 for Digging it, though.

Actually, it went front page, despite the usual bury brigade.

You know I like the phrase “vile object of disgust”. I could not have said it better myself. Maybe “the omni present media star vile obect of disgust” would be better.

Glenn Beck can lie only 5 times and it becomes TRUTH, as his audience is so susceptible to suggestion and manipulation. You folks are so easily distracted by the mega rich corporate masters who tell Beck what to say.

Think!

Think for yourselves.

You know, I previously commented on this article without having read the source article, taking what you wrote at face value.

Then I read the source article, and now I know why your digg submission was buried–it’s wholly inaccurate. Re-read the Media Matters article; nowhere in there is it said that Right-wingers assassinated JFK. Nowhere does it posit anything at all about who the assassin was, that matter is not touched upon in any way, shape or form.

The source article notes the similarities between the political climates of the time period and today, the levels of vitriol and similarities in accusations leveled by the Right against the President. He does not say that ramped-up Radical Right-wing hate CAUSES violence, only that it generally occurs at the same time. Correlation does not equal causation–you are putting those words in his mouth (so to speak).

Is he right, and does that mean anything? I don’t know, but I do know that you’re fabricating a story to stir up controversy. Shame on you.

Ok, perhaps the guy got the “rightist” vs. “leftist” thing wrong, but as demonstrated by the adverts rolling at the bottom of the screen, we’ve sunk to a place where my town’s football team is better than your town’s football team. Pride in mobs is ugly regardless of which extremity they represent. If you don’t think ugly behavior begets ugly behavior, you are fooling yourselves.
