This one has not made much news outside of the conservative blogosphere. It is the newest executive order signed by Barack Obama.
Anyone nervous yet?
From the Examiner:
On March 16th, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands upon a prior order issued in 1950 for Disaster Preparedness, and gives the office of the President complete control over all the resources in the United States in times of war or emergency.
The National Defense Resources Preparedness order gives the Executive Branch the power to control and allocate energy, production, transportation, food, and even water resources by decree under the auspices of national defense and national security. The order is not limited to wartime implementation, as one of the order’s functions includes the command and control of resources in peacetime determinations.
I am not an alarmist but the idea of the Obama regime having total control over anything is disturbing. No it isn’t disturbing, it is totally, freaking scary.

The economy of the United States is based on the free flow of resources, energy, and the rights of consumers to buy and sell as they see fit. Any interference in this economic process quickly leads to shortages, rising prices, and civil unrest. The purpose of President Obama signing this new Executive Order is yet unclear, however, it may coincide with information coming out of Israel yesterday that plans for a tactical or strategic strike on Iran are accelerating. Oil prices in Europe rose over $3 a barrel for Brent crude after the Israeli actions, and US oil prices rose $2 for WTI.
The Obama administration appears to be preparing for a long drawn out war in the Middle East, or at the very least, an expected crisis that will require the need to override Constitutional authority and claim dominion over all resources in the United States under the guise of national defense. With the rise in Disaster Preparedness growing for both individuals and states leading up to yesterday’s Executive Order, the mood of the nation points strongly towards some event or disaster that will require massive preparations on a national as well as local scale.
Any one really nervous yet?
Given the cavalier way the Obama regime tends to ignore the Constitution, the thought of the Regime having emergency powers is a nightmare.

This one ought to knot a few colons!
The royal spring break.
There is a story that you need to hear about but may not because the story seems to be disappearing from the web. Why is it disappearing? Could it be because it embarrasses Obama?
What is the story?
The story is that Barack Obama’s 13-year-old daughter has gone on spring break to Mexico with some friends. Why someone would let their 13-year-old daughter go to Mexico on spring break is a separate story.
Because she is Barack Obama’s child, she is traveling with 25 Secret Service agents.
Is it just me or does anyone else see a problem here?
Obama wants his kid to go on Spring Break. That is fine but the problem we have is that we the taxpayer are footing the bill for it. How did Malia Obama get to Mexico? I’m willing to be she did not fly Air Mexicana. Even is she flew commercial that means that she flew down there, 25 Secret Service agents flew down there and there has to be accommodations and logistics for those agents.
How much is all of this costing the American taxpayer?
Perhaps someone should remind Obama that we are in the middle of the Great Obama Depression. Millions are out of work. Millions are wondering how they are going to pay for the $5 a gallon gas we are about to see thanks to his policies. Many are worried about losing their homes.
What is Obama’s reaction?
He takes a vacation. His wife takes a vacation. And now his daughter takes a vacation. It might be nice if they showed at least some sensitivity to the real Americans who are suffering because of what the Party of Treason has done to the economy but to be blunt, they do not care.
The other interesting part about this story is that since it first broke, it has been disappearing from various websites.
Why?
If Obama were a Republican and his child were doing this, the media would be screaming about it. Instead they ignore this.

Obama and the solar powered airplane.

Barack Obama is on tour. Given his interest in alternative fuels, you will be pleased to know that Air Force One is now powered by solar energy.
No, it isn’t. It is powered by that same oil that Barack Obama wants Americans to spend so much money for.
And he isn’t shy about burning fuel at the taxpayer’s expense to run around the nation and tell us high gas prices are not his fault.

President Barack Obama is about to launch a 5,000-mile, four-state, two-day trip on Air Force One to contain the political damage caused by high gas prices.
Obama is slated to fly out this Wednesday to camera-ready podiums in Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Colorado, from where he’ll tout his administration’s efforts to reduce the nation’s use of gasoline.
His 5,000-mile trip will consume roughly 25,000 gallons of jet fuel, according to Boeing.
That adds up to a fuel bill of $80,000, assuming the Air Force buys jet fuel at the cheapest cost, now estimated at $3.20 a gallon by the U.S. Energy Administration. The retail price for jet-fuel at local airports is just over $6 a gallon, including taxes.
Still, the cheapest jet-fuel costs about 43 cents less per gallon than the $3.63 cost of auto gasoline in Columbus, in swing-state Ohio, where the president will make his final speech on the trip.
The cost of gasoline is boosted by state taxes, which amount to roughly 40 cents per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com, which tracks the cost of gasoline in each state.
The president’s support aircraft, including the C-17 cargo jets that carry his armored limousines and additional vehicles to cities before his arrival, will each burn a comparable amount of additional jet-fuel during the campaign swing.
Can we say hypocrisy?
Obama thinks we should all pay $10 a gallon and the only relief we can have is when he can convince the Saudis to pump more oil. However, he is not shut (shy?) about burning it.
OF course, he wants to get to his destination, so he is not requiring Air Force One to burn the biofuels he is making the Navy use for its jet fighters. Not only is it not as good as regular jet fuel, it costs four times as much as regular jet fuel.
There is a reason why Obama is not using it.
Real Americans are trying to figure out how they are going to put gas in their cars, thanks to the policies of the Obama regime.
In this era of expensive fuels and the Great Obama Depression, Congress should clip Obama’s wings and ground Air Force One.
Of course, if Air Force One were grounded until we had $2.50 a gallon gas like Newt Gingrich wants us to have, Obama would quickly find a way to make that happen.

When I heard about the shooter in France, I thought to myself (no joke) that I will be SHOCKED if he was a white (“Christian”) guy that had NO ties to Islam whatsoever (especially of course since the first victims were Jewish). Kimmy, not all the dumpsters at a jobsite, or behind a factory, are for trash. Some are for recyclable, and the contractors get paid for what’s in them. Therefore, stealing recyclables is theft.

Some of these girls are truly learning to be fantastic dancers. The moms, the dance studio owner, and the show, are using them in a way that they should not be used. I hope they don’t have their minds ruined by all the drama.
I have a photo shoot scheduled at a non-profit dance studio in a couple of weeks. The groups go from age 2-3 up to teens, and we’re going to be doing their group photos and some dance shots. I sincerely hope the moms aren’t like these. I already know the instructor isn’t.
