OK, here I go. Disclaimer: Yeah, I’m racist. What was this women doing in the apartment during the storm is she had 2 small children to care for? There was no problem with transportation BEFORE the storm. I’d have packed a couple of bags and gone to the local MALL before I would have risked my children. 2nd” I don’t know what to do, no body to call, no body to help. . . Well get off your ass and start researching what you can do. There were shelters provided, she new the government would be sending some assistance and if you look at America as a whole. you KNOW donations and help is on the way. 3rd: I notice the WHITE chick was able to get her some assistance, an apartment, some cash for food etc. Why couldn’t the black chick have done the same. She could have been out of that apartment before the mold started growing. And like Katrina, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been donated, thousand of people have gone to help, yet it all still looks like a war zone. I appreciate these people have endured a devestating storm, with unbelieveable loss of property and lives. But sitting around saying “I didn’t have nobody to call, no body to help” is not productive and will not improve the situation. If I had done that with every downturn in my life, I can’t imagine what I would be doing now!
