UC Berkeley College Republicans’ ‘diversity bake sale’ elicits cries of racism. It seems racism is not racism as long as it benefits minorities and the liberals are in charge. If it benefits minorities and the Republicans are in charge, then suddenly it’s racism. It also seems free speech is paramount at UC Berkeley as long as the liberals are speaking. If the Republicans are speaking, then censorship should apply. Berkeley isn’t a college anymore, it’s a brainwashing factory.

The bake sale is in protest of SB 185, which, if signed by Brown, would allow California public universities to consider a number of non-academic factors such as race, gender and nationality in the admissions process in order to increase campus diversity.
So, it’s ok to be racist in your admission policy, just not when pricing cookies?

What’s wrong with the price structure? In a way, doesn’t it fit in with the Obama economic plan? Those who earn more have to pay more so those who earn less can have their fair share of the pie.
