MY religion demands pork at least 3 times a week for lunch, so who can I sue for religious discrimination?

I want to take the time here to ask you what religion is this? Because it sounds interesting. I have actually discovered the joys of scrambled eggs cooked with bacon fat. I need to watch it and exercise but man that is just good.

You poor thing. Didn’t you know that pork fat rules! When I was a kid that was all we had.

Just kidding ya KQ. You can use bacon grease just like you use cooking oil in everything you cook or bake except sweet stuff like cakes or pies. Everything you fry can be cooked with bacon grease, Eggs, hash browned taters, potato latkes, it’s all good.

Any kind of bean is also better with pork fat. A hamhock or salt pork cooked with limas, pintos, navy beans or black eyed peas adds a lot to the flavor. Just remember, don’t trim all the fat off the pork! That is where the real flavor comes from!

Yes I am actually discovering that in the past few months. it seems it is the success of my Mom’s cooking and I didn’t know it! I am truly beginning to understand that everything (or almost) truly does taste better with pork fat. My Mom thought me to extract the fat from something that she makes chicharones with (dont remember the name) and she treats it like liquid gold and I realize that it is really great!

We still render the lard when we butcher pigs, that is where the chicharones come from. You can do it too if you want.

Ask the butcher at your local meat market to save you 20 or 30 pounds of fat when they trim the pork for sale. If it has a little meat on it, no big deal but you want the fat. Cut it into cubes about 1 inch square then in a large pot over a low fire start cooking the fat. The reason I say a low fire is you don’t want to “cook” the fat, you want to extract the lard for future use. When the little chrispies, the chicharones, start to float scoop them out, lightly salt them, then add more cubed fat. You not only get a snack that beats the hell out of popcorn, you get lard for cooking.

After all the fat is cooked down let the oil cool then store it in sealable containers. You can freeze it or keep it in a cool place and it will last for at least a year.

And rendered lard (not the kind you buy in a shefl stable carton at the grocery) has someof the same Omega-3 fats that salmon contain. Same with grass fed beef, field raised chickens (and their eggs.) And rendered lard has less saturated fat than beef fat or any hydrogenated shortening.

The forcing part is a problem for me. I hate sharia but if people want to be stupid and follow it out of free will whatever… but the forcing is a problem ESPECIALLY when that is counter to the other people’s philosophies and religions. People need to wake the hell up. This is not just happening OVER THERE and only over there. This is a reality in too many western countries and it will become a reality here. Thanks to Obama not even wanting to defend DOMA in court and all the other attacks on religion through Obamacare it is becoming more and more of a reality. The US is going down people.

The problem with Islam is that it is not just a religion. It comes bundled with a political system. Think of atheism. If people want to be atheists that’s their own problem. If atheism came inextricably linked with communism, then it should be made illegal. Islam should be illegal in America, because it demands a new and alien political system. To be a Muslim in America should be treason.

This is the reason why I believe that it is Islam that is the religious and political force as describe in the Book of Daniel, The Book of Isaiah and the Book of Revelation (among others). As for it being treasonous… to be a Muslim who lives and wants others to live under sharia in my opinion is treasonous. Those so called moderate muslims that want to live under and operate and obey to live the constitution but just pray to their god without regard nor need for changing the culture nor laws of this country are okay by me. I still believe Islam is not a peaceful nor benign religion, but I have no personal problem with the so called moderate Muslims. It is those that want to bring their laws over there that are in direct opposition to the constitution that I agree are treasonous and should go back to where tehy came from.

Let’s examine the “moderate” Muslim. If war breaks out and it looks like a Sharia-based power is going to overthrow the US of A, you and I will fight to our dying breath. The “moderate” Muslim will shrug and say, “I can get by OK under this new tyranny.”

I may believe in Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster and the Cottingley Fairies, but I’ll never believe in the existence of the “moderate” Muslim.

Well I do pray they do exist. They can truly make a difference to somewhat redeem the religion if their numbers and power increases… however I am not THAT realistically hopeful as the religion WAS created to be indeed in opposition to Judaism/Christianity.

Anyone who thinks himself a “moderate Muslim” is really a sleeper agent without even realizing it. Because, as I pointed out, when it comes down to conflict they will NOT fight to the last breath for the Constitution, but will flip over to the Sharia side of things.

Their religion will trump the place they immigrated to, that allowed them the freedom to worship as they pleased. I do agree with that. Moderate muslims are outbirthing and outworking and infiltrating government positions, perhaps without realizing that they are planting seeds for future takeover. They can be dangerous if they aren’t really earnest in truly moderating the religion.

I still think that that there’s no such thing as a moderate Muslim. If a person doesn’t follow the violent and hateful teachings of Mohammed, he can’t call himself a Muslim, any more than one who doesn’t follow the teachings of Christ can honestly call himself a Christian.

That is why it is so insidious and successful for it masquerades as a pure religion that just happens to have laws within it and the first amendment protects it. Jews have laws within their religion (the 10 commandments) and so do Christians, however they are not meant to be POLITICAL or GOVERNMENTAL (within the USA) in nature wheras Shariah is in their home countries, but then they will say oh no they are purely religious and that is not the case at all. Jews have managed to not make a theocracy in their new State as it failed (in the end) because their kings in their majority were horrible. Sadly Muslims havent crossed into the contemporary part of history yet.

Hey at least they claimed it was on religious grounds and not for better health. What’s next for the employees and contractor burkas for the women and non bathing, beards and sandals for the men.

This is a clear example if what happens when multiculturalism is embraced. The ones needing to adapt and become part of the host country push their beliefs and practices down the throat of the citizenry.

They aren’t really immigrating, they are creating a copy of the place they came from. If they love it so much then stay, obviously (in my opinion) this can only be considered an invasion, because that is what you do when you invade, you push the culture that you come from where you invade. There are many wyas to do it, and muslims are doing it on a lot of different camps. They are outbirthing Europeans, they are also infiltrating the government, they are out working the Europeans who don’t want to work so people are employing those that do (the Muslims) therefore making them able to DEMAND that their culture take precedence and everyone else is made to abide. It is dangerous… people are not seeing the danger and that is a big problem.

I’d come in early, have sausage and hash browns for breakfast, a BLT for lunch, then I’d enjoy my dinner of BBQ pulled pork sandwiches before I left work. I’m not saying I’d be long for this world, but at least I would not go out hungry.

Whiskeyriver it sounds like you and I have both have the same mind set. We can’t die yet, we’ve not pissed enough people off yet.:) The other day someone came into my office babbling about the election. When I told them slavery had returned to the US, I thought they where going to lose their minds. It got better, I called the democrats the slave owners and the mainstream media the task masters. They left talking to themselves and I felt I had done my good deed for the day. :)

You would like the guy that owns one of the small wineries I stopped at in Napa yesterday. As soon as he figured out we weren’t libtards we started hearing all kinds of stuff about Pelosi. well, let’s just i addressed my fears/phobias on another thread, and they had nada to do with a buncha djin worshiping, one’s-own-flesh-and-blood mutilating then murdering child molesting bastards of dogs, ergo I pretty much hoped for pigs and catfish to invade their corporate and personal properties, as well as their graves, may they be filled soon.

I also pointed out that they didn’t know the difference between a request and a rule, since they used them interchangeably.

Now on to more important issue. I dig the sammich idea, butt (of a pig) one needs bread to soak up the bacon drippings.
and… whilst chicharones are indeed a wonderful treat, my fave Saturday night in front of high chapparel and rasslin on t.v. was bacon grease popped pop corn. that was when i was young and could still eat popcorn.
