U.N. says going green will cost $76 trillion. That’s trillion with a T.

by editor on July 10, 2011

Consider this another case of your tax dollars at work. And let it be noted for the record that we emphasize the words “your tax dollars” because we all know the U.N. thinks you should pay for it.

Fox News explains how going green will put you in the red:

swimming-in-money

Typical hardworking U.N. bureaucrat practices swimming in money

Two years ago, U.N. researchers were claiming that it would cost “as much as $600 billion a year over the next decade” to go green. Now, a new U.N. report has more than tripled that number to $1.9 trillion per year for 40 years.

So let’s do the math: That works out to a grand total of $76 trillion, over 40 years — or more than five times the entire Gross Domestic Product of the United States ($14.66 trillion a year). It’s all part of a “technological overhaul” “on the scale of the first industrial revolution” called for in the annual report. Except that the U.N. will apparently control this next industrial revolution.

Well, of course they will. They’ve demonstrated over and over again that they are your moral and intellectual superiors. Who better to control the next industrial revolution?

The new 251-page report with the benign sounding name of the “World Economic and Social Survey 2011” is rife with goodies calling for “a radically new economic strategy” and “global governance.”

Far as we can tell they resisted the urge to use the phrase “pissing your money away” in the report.

With all due disrespect to Ben Bernanke 76 trillion U.S. dollars may not be a lot of money in the near future.

This has primarily been seen by those in its design , as a possible funding mechinism for the future one world government.

Ah yes, the “United Nations”. The self same origination that has gotten us involved in 5 wars, cost us trillions of dollars, and encourages total pieces of excrement like the Clintons to attempt to nullify the Constitution.

You people are clueless. We will all die unless you pay up for green technology.

My friend Olivia said you were all a bunch of cynical naysayers with no idea of what it takes to operate a planet, safely. You would rather let corporate jet owners rule this world than those of us who believe in conservation of resources for future generations.

Now, if you will excuse me, my limo is waiting for me. I have a UN Conference to get ready for.

Absolutely, Al. I realize if we are to save the earth, there’s only one way; do exactly as you say and give all our money to folks like you and the UN to use as toliet paper for your private jets and mansions while we go live in lean-to’s (I want my shanty town to be called “Obamaville”!) Please remember to drop a few crumbs from your gourmet dinner on us as you fly over us peasants… last time all we got was blue water. Was that on purpose?

The other UN story on the wires this weekend is that a land swap with NYC is in the works which will allow the UN to construct(and us to pay for) a luxury apartment complex for its staff. I’m sure this a key element in the greening plan.

Which UN are we talking about? Are we talking about the UN that libtards seem to assume is all light and goodness, or are we talking about the UN that was designed by communist spy Alger Hiss and his on the beltway buddies, or the UN that got us into the Korean conflict in the 50′s and into VietNam in the 60′s and into the Middle East in the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s and the early 2000′s and still has us lodged firmly up the assholes of the Middle East, (and there are so many of them), in Afghanistan and Iraq and now in Yemen and Libya, the same UN that owns millions and millions of square US acres, the same UN that’s foisting Agenda 21 up our butts and down our throats, the same UN that has already wasted more than $3 trillion of our dollars and wants $76 trillion more, that UN?

Sorry U.N. but we’re already broke, China can foot this bill.

…Wait, if we sold all those private jets and yachts, we could pay our fair share. Obama says we don’t need them anyway.

Tell the UN to pay up on all past due parking tickets, and get the hell out of America. This orginazation benefits us not one bit. ROLL IT UP, KICK IT OUT.

You’re right. In fact this organ of the globalist masters wouldn’t be able to fund itself if the US would cease paying it to screw with us.

To be fair, only $26 trillion of this will actually be used to go “green.”
The other $50 trillion will be used to line the pockets of U.N. delegates.
