What is Christiane Amanpour thinking at the end of this video clip? (a) Thomas Friedman Paul Krugman is a complete loon, (b) Those evil Republicans are blocking Obama’s attempts to save the nation, or (c) I really loved that Home Alone movie.

“If Obama called for endorsing motherhood, the Republicans in the House would oppose it.

Really?

As his own newspaper reported August 1, 174 House Republicans voted for an Obama-endorsed agreement to raise the debt ceiling. The previous month, the Times reported 229 House Republicans voted in favor of Cut, Cap and Balance. In April, the Times reported 235 House Republicans voted for Congressman Paul Ryan’s (R-Wisc.) budget proposal.

Or does Mr. Krugman forget that the only budget actually proposed on paper by a Democrat in more than two years – the one Obama offered in February – didn’t get one Democrat vote in the Senate?

Oh. That’s right. That was the House Republicans’ fault.”

Using motherhood and BHO as analogy is foolish in the first place. His stance on “Born Alive” legislation is reprehensible.

Freidman & Krugman are 2 of the most overrated & overhyped people in the media today. What comforts me is that they are working for an operation that is on borrowed time. They are progressive elites who live it up on an NYTimes expense account, & they will be taken care of when the NYTimes goes away. That’s kind of sad.

Krugman is not an economist. He is a political hack with a degree in economics.

Ed: “Thanks for catching my error.”

You could have pulled a Wassermann and said, “jobs, jobs, jobs, laser, focus, jobs, focus, laser” and left it the way it was…..

Uhm… I saw that twice and I still have no idea what the heck he was talking about. She was probably saying the same thing. Considering she is a smart lady just misguided in her politics, I am sure she was perplexed by the fact that she couldn’t figure out what was coming out of his mouth. I am not going to watch that crap again. But this is a fool and I have no respect for him so whatever he does have to say makes no difference. Why have these fools in shows to begin with?
