“You get nothing,” the president said. “I get that for free.” “At one point, according to notes taken by a participant, Mr. Boehner told the president, ‘I put $800 billion [in tax revenue] on the table. What do I get for that?’” You get nothing. Obama’s ego balloon is now blown up to near-bursting point thanks to his “mandate” last November. You’ve earned this, America. Enjoy. BTW, he’s going to Hawaii at your expense. Aloha.

OK, updated with another link that supposedly works. I am a WSJ subscriber so I didn’t know about the wall in the original. If that still doesn’t work, maybe referral from Hot Air will: http://hotair.com/headlines/archives/2012/12/22/you-get-nothing-i-get-that-for-free/

Obama will continue to be a petulant child, he thinks he has the support of the people.
He will be in for a rude surprise come the midterm elections.

We have officially have a temperamental five year old in the White House, I would not be surprised to see him laying on the floor kicking and screaming about one kid of bullshit or another…..I am thinking he got a lot of participation trophies in whatever country he happened to be in at the time..and maybe a self esteem class or too cause he sure thinks he is important……He ranks right up there with Creepy Crowley, if they both were kidnapped by space aliens I wouldn’t even miss them. In fact I might invite everyone from IHTM to my house for a few drinks.

Don’t forget to invite the aliens too. If they take both Crowley AND Obummer, they deserve a drink.

Obama the person is more a manifestation of a reflection of American societal and cultural opinion/defect, not the cause.
DeToqueville wrote about this in the 1830s and more recently, a savvy Czech-writer.
A people/electorate that could elect a non-entity like an Obama is the actual problem, not the candidate in the empty suit winning another term.
Any/every Democrat and most Republicans could speak for President Obama about all the new Government instructions and taxes we’ll have to implement/pay, or else…

Obama is a tool of Soros Inc, and the Communist/Socialist parties, he will be the medium through which this country is turned into 1940′s-1970′s Russia/USSR if we don’t do something to stop it.
The mid-term elections will be the first step. Gaining control of the Senate will go a long way to reversing the damage he has done.
We need the Senate because Dingy Harry has too much power to deadlock the process of getting anything done.
It is true that the Republican establishment has gone soft, and is helping ruin the country, but there are TEA party people in there that can rally support to change that. If they refuse to change, we need to rally support among the people to get the TEA Party strong enough to challenge by running more candidates that believe the way we do.

You’re right about the electorate being the problem. We can survive BHO but the republic won’t survive an electorate that reelects a man like him twice.

If Boehner is removed from the speakership and replaced by a solid TEA Party type of conservative, then we have a chance to slow down the freight train the progs have put us on.

If you think the Republican party is going to sweep the Congressional mid-terms in ’14 like they did in ’10, you’re sadly mistaken.
Even if they did, so what?
They voted to grow pestilential parasitical Government to benefit their cronies and crooks.
The Republican party is another less-than-worthless organization supposedly dedicated to preserving the constitutional rights of American citizens to preserving our speech and property.
The Democrats have evolved to seamlessly control the new reality they created in every institution of society and culture.
All white people are de facto “racists”, especially the black ones!

The Republican party is officially on board with the Democrat party with having the Government keep raising taxes, increasing spending, and hacking-away with a meat axe the rest of our illusory ‘freedumbs’.

Now that my diatribe against the GOP is out of the way, there’s another reason Republicans shouldn’t be elected to anything.
They don’t stand for anything, so they won’t have to take a political fall for their irrelevancy when the SHTF.
The long experiment of idiocy of Leftism in the West will just have to run its course.

Judge Smails to Spalding, “You’ll get nothing and like it”.
Chairman O to Boehner, “You get nothing”

Very similar sentiments. Chairman O & Judge Smails have much in common. Both golf all the time, both are arrogant & condescending, both are cheaters, …
