Stop sending them money and weapons. They can hate us just as much without both.

Another fruit of Obama’s outreach to Islamic nations—and these particular religious loons have nukes.

I’m afraid it’s just a matter of time before one of the insane nations—Iran, Pakistan, North Korea—smuggles an A-bomb into America or perhaps gives one to a gang of muzzie terrorists. Roast the Great Satan in his lair! Allahu-akbar!

It’s an ugly world and getting uglier. Thank you, low information voters.

Actually, this is the one promise Obama has kept. In one of the early debates when asked about Afghanistan, he said he would invade Pakistan to take out the Taliban. It was considered a gaff at the time and Obama “corrected” himself, but history tells a different story.

The is only a matter of concern when you realize that Pakistan
1. Is “secretly” run by Jihadis
2. now hate the US
3. Have nukes.

ANYWAY, all you insomniacs, you can read J.P.’s Moment of Common Sense over at JPAttitude.com…stop on by since you are already awake.

Whoa, that’s spooky. I do, in fact, have issues with procrastination. I record Common Sense at 4:00 PM Thursday. The studio is slightly more than a half hour away. At 12:30 I was eating pizza and talking to my nephew without a word on paper and still lacking even a subject. That’s how I ended up talking about the son-of-a-bitch in the White House again.

BTW, I didn’t listen to the SOTU address either…can’t stand the sound of his voice…don’t want to hear a single word come out of his mouth…but for some reason beyond my ability to precisely pinpoint at the moment I will listen to the drival of the 2 Sean’s and Lady J agreeing with whoever maybe talking at he moment, just to listen to that recording of yours. (so my dyslexia doesn’t flip your words, in my noggin)

Nothing spooky about it…It’s just the ability to pick up on the patterns that people reveal about themselves, usually without realizing it themselves. People are creatures of habit. You just have to pay attention. And I’m closing my hazel now…Good night JP, get some good sleepies, dear.

Dammit Doc, I wrote down the name of that site so I could listen to that uncommonly sensical guy later today on the webcast and browse the amazing research resources and archives and podcasts of past radio shows available there at the site. I heard they celebrated their 1,000,000th hit last year too.

And your dog ate the piece of paper. So if you find the time could you pass that address along again?

Actually, I fell asleep in the recliner, a side effect of the Gabapentin, and when I woke up, I came here.
The Gabapentin (900 mg 3x/day) is for the tingling/numbness I get in my feet and toes from the stenosis.

Member

February 15, 2013 11:20 pm

change stenosis to diabetic neuropathy and you have an accurate statement…your not keeping your diabetes in check…we’ve talked about this before Poppa. You have to take care of yourself first or you won’t be around to take care of everybody else around you.

Member

Except that the Dr did an MRI and determined that it was the stenosis. I only get the tingling/numbness when I lie down in bed.
BTW, my A1C is below 7.

yet he prescribed a drug for diabetic neuropathy…

Member

Maybe that’s why the drug is having zero effect. It’s just that the neurologist refused to see me until they tried the Gabapentin first. I’ve been on it 5 months now, starting with low dosage (300 mg 2x/day).

Poppa, I’m telling you, Your diabetes IS having it’s way with you. The infection that almost cost you your hand, the osteomyelitis that could have cost you your leg, and the neuropathy in your feet are ALL COMPLICATIONS OF DIABETES. Now, if you choose to ignore that, then that is on you. But I’m not going to sit here and argue with you about it. You’re grown, I ain’t your mama, go handle it…and don’t make me smack you again. Next time I’m sending Rose.

OOOOOOH! you didn’t tell me spanking was an option! I’ll opt for that!
The Dr said it wasn’t the diabetes, she saw the MRI. I have stenosis in my neck AND lower back! It’s not a good thing apparently. Since it only happens when I lay down, she said it is a complication of the stenosis. The neurologist wanted me to do the meds first, hoping it would ease the effect on the nerves, but now it looks like I will have to see the neurologist. It is possible that I may need to have the surgery for the stenosis.

I understand the infections (cellulitis) were complications of the diabetes. I know the sugar slows down the healing process. I also know that neuropathy is a complication of diabetes, I don’t want to argue with you either, unless you promise to spank me! 😛

This is as good a place as any to post this:

OLD TIMER’S HOSPITAL STAY …

I am a pretty sick old man.

One week I was sick and in the hospital.

There was one nurse that just drove me crazy.

Every time she came in, she would talk to me like I was a little child.

She would say in a patronizing tone of voice, ‘And how are we doing this morning?’

Or ‘Are we ready for a bath’, or ‘Are we hungry ?’

I had had enough of this particular nurse.

One day, at breakfast, I took the apple juice off the tray

and put it in my bed side stand.

Later, I was given a urine bottle to fill for testing.

So you know where the juice went !

The nurse came in a little later, picked up the urine bottle and looked at it.

‘My, it seems we are a little cloudy today. ‘

At this, I snatched the bottle out of her hand, popped off the top,

and drank it down, saying, ‘Well, I’ll run it

through again. Maybe I can filter it better this time.’

The nurse fainted……….

I just smiled.

DON’T MESS WITH ‘OLD’ PEOPLE…

Well JP, drinks his own urine…you know for survival purposes, or something… 😉

Member
February 16, 2013 10:22 am

Wow, how did we go from me saying urine is antiseptic to you saying I drink it? Anyway, I probably would if the circumstances warranted it. I have very little squeamishness about what I consume. My biggest no-no is Chinese fish – those bastards will farm raise fish in a cesspool, sell it on the American market, and laugh all the way to the bank.
