A Chance to Reset the Republican Race. The New York Times is up their armpits in propaganda tactics today.

Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, though a distinct underdog, is the only plausible choice for Republicans tired of the extremism and inexperience on display in this race.

Yes John Kasich. The guy who will never (conveniently) be elected. Really NYT, you should include some LSD with these “editorials” if you want them to actually convince anyone.

Kasich is for common core, Obamacare, and amnesty. A classic establishment RINO interchangable with Jeb. Specifically here in Ohio, he courted tea party voters and said he was against Obamacare in 2012. Once in office he went all in on setting up medicare exchanges for Obamacare, How did he square this with his pre-election claims? He said being a Christian required him to “help the poor”, so he had to establish the Obamacare exchanges. Ask yourself. Was setting up Obamacare and reniging on a campaign promise the only way to help the poor? No, or course not. But that was how he chose to spin his actions.

Would he be better with Hilary. Absolutely. But goernment would be little changed from what we have today under Kasich. He might better balance the budget than would Hilary. But RINO-democrat programs would continue mostly unchanged.

Some of the lefties I know basically celebrated this endorsement as an example of the middle of the road reasonableness of the NYTs. I cannot imagine what it must be like to view the world like that.

Kasich reminds me of the kid who would stand around and whine when they were picked last for dodge ball.

After this piece, Kasich should drop out of the race.

Good grief. They might as well endorse Bob Dole for the Republican nomination.

I’m surprised they aren’t endorsing Benjamin Harrison.

I’m surprised they didn’t dig up [so to speak] Bob Dole. He’s sufficiently senile.

He’s the only one Hilary might beat.
