Bush burns Stephanopolous: “Just because you report it doesn’t mean it’s true”

by editor on April 28, 2011

It was a battle of the Georges on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday. Former President George W. Bush appeared on the program to promote a charity bike ride. Host George Stephanopoulos asked him about the rumored Panetta-Gates-Patraeus job swaps. Bush had not yet heard the breaking news.

Bush: Is this gossip or truth?

Stephanopoulos: No, it’s truth. We are reporting it this morning. It is done. It’s being announced later this week.

Bush: Just because you’re reporting it, as you might recall, doesn’t necessarily mean… (laughter)

Stephanopoulos: I’m fairly confident on this one this morning Mr. President.

You can’t blame Bush for being skeptical. That’s what Dan Rather said about those Air National Guard documents, too.

As stupid as people think Bush is, Obama is dumber, & I’ll tell you why. Bush is smart enough & more importantly, honest enough to admit he does’nt know everything. He never tried to act like it. Obama on the other hand, actually believes he’s knows way more then he does, & that makes him worse. He’s not honest enough to admit he does’nt know as much as he or others think he does. He DOES NOT UNDERSTAND that the smartest socialist cannot make things work better then the dumbest capitalist can. Because the capitalist only need to know a few things, while the socialist needs to everything. But since there is no way in hell anyone can everything, the socialist fails, EVERY EFFING TIME.

The thing that I find funny is that I wasn’t necessarily Bush’s number one fan, but in the past couple of years I am thinking about the bygone years of the Bush era in a fond way. You never know how good you have it until it is gone.

Great clip.

But the first part where the Justin Bieber ad comes on was traumatizing, both emotionally and spiritually. Nothing personal, mind you. But you will be hearing from my attorney Irwin R. Shuyster, he is of counsel from the law offices of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe.

Bush is so classy. He refuses say a bad word about Obama. Meantime Obama still uses Bush as a punching bag. The one good thing you can say about Obama, he probably inspires a lot of Bush nostalgia in people.

“Bush is so classy…”

Agreed. I have friends that live not too far from them and they’ve told me several stories about the classy things Mr & Mrs Bush have done that don’t get reported, but is well known down there.

He really looked classy when he gave the middle finger to the camera and cackled like a little kid. The people who call this buffoon “classy” are the same ones carrying misspelled Tea Bagger signs. Hip hip hooray for incompetence!

oh and the community organizer was demonstrating his class when he talked about his cocaine use and smoking dope and giving the finger in a well known photograph i saw AGAIN yesterday. the acorn shill was shows his class every time he uses the word tea-bag (kinda’ like another loser…. YOU) instead of tea party. Obummer and bite-me are going home in 2012 so they can become the peanut gallery once again… and not a moment too soon.

Bush was ten times the president Obama is.

I constantly remind liberals that Bush is no excuse for Obama

Well, Obama likes to remind us he’s not Bush. Kinda like Puddles The Incontinent Pooch reminding us he’s not Rin Tin Tin; some things we don’t NEED to be reminded of.

Bring back George Bush. A Commander in Chief instead of Pretender in Brief.

Oh i am glad to see him happily stand up for himself and use real words!, i miss having a fun president. Is it wrong that i felt my husband was safer with a soldier honoring commander in chief than a self obsessed comander in chief?

Not wrong at all, Babydoll. I think many people feel the same way.
