Feds: America Should Adopt ‘Plant-Based’ Diet. Time to get your desert taxed and for them to monitor your TV use. Obviously, the morons who came up with this idea have the IQ  of a plant.

Okay. Lets start with the most likely free cafeteria’s and executive dining facilities for the the government “employees” and especially the elected scum. Socialism is not for the socialists.
Voters are morons!

My diet IS plant based. The animals eat plants, and I eat the animals.

Plants, insects and recycled Chinese newspaper.

Read that in Gorbatchev´s Union, synthetic beef was made out of toilet paper.

Have to believe that they wouldn’t use “clean” toilet paper… only used would do..have to add less coloring to bring the beef to the right shade.

Should as in friendly doctor’s reminder that health is important: let the food be your medicine sort of thing but it is up to you to make that happen… ? or

Should as in laws will be enacted to FORCE you to eat a plant based diet?

One… ok thanks for the advice I’m going to do me and do my own thing…

Two… HELL NO!

Everything old is new again. The entire 20th century so called experts have bickered over food. In the early partof the century, and again in WWII, our overal nutritional status was appalling. A big part of that was a predominantly plant based diet that lacked adequate protein. No matter how you try and dance around it, the only source of complete protein an Vit B12 is animal protein. While quinoa has a complete protein, it still lacks B12. Vegans must take supplement to get adequate B12. Our teeth have 2 specific types. Tearing teeth for meat, grinding teeth forplants. Humans are omnivore. All the political crap in the world will not change that.

“America should adopt a plant-based diet”?

America doesn’t have a diet. It’s a country.

It’s supposed to be a country of individuals, but, oh, well.

Since the beginning of time man was expected to eat meat. Why do you think the cave man had a club that looked like a drumstick??

man was not created to eat meat. rather, he was granted a dispensation to do so until later in history where we find that God explicitly granted it.

All you that thought your healthcare wouldn’t complicate your lives. Guess what, you are now about to be told what you can eat, how much sleep you should get, how often you must exercise and how often you will be permitted to have sex.

Signed up for that free healthcare and now you’ve become a slave to system. Just as the left wished.

This plan must have the wookie all smiles. It will give her and her group more of the finer things in life. Like steak, deserts and jet setting all over the world.

As usual these so called progressives want to control every and all aspects of our lives. Cradle to grave nanny-ism, with a generous dose of communism thrown in for good measure.

There is already a means of tracking our food purchase habits when we use supermarket discount cards and the data has already been shared with (sold to) the health insurance industry and otherwise compiling nutritional dossiers on customers using the loyalty cards. If you buy a lot of forbidden unhealthy foods what are the chances that the death panels determine you’re not worth risking life saving resources should you contract a condition that’s deemed to be a result of poor dietary choices?

Nutrition “interventionists”? Government monitoring of TV watching? This report comes from HHS and the Dept. Agriculture, so I would suggest the immediate abolition of both of them.
