Guess what those international election observers have to say. They can’t believe we let people vote without ID. “It’s an incredible system,” said Nuri K. Elabbar, from Libya. “This system is built according to trust…” Another observer, from Lebanon, was amazed that the handling of ballots after the voting ends is entrusted to local poll workers. Sounds like they’re saying what Republicans have been saying: our election system enables fraud.

one lesson learned from warren win, you don’t actually have to BE a minority to receive the benefits
Also the complete irony is, he supposedly wanted to do away with the electoral college… But that is how he won because He nearly lost the pop vote!

PsychoDad

Yeah all those lefties are LOVIN’ that electoral college today, huh?!

Fraud…it is not the number of votes that count, it is how you count them….just like in all the other communist countries….

We in Minnesota just voted against requiring an ID to vote. Not me, but hey, maybe you can come up & be me & vote for me at some point.

sa_rose

Or maybe we ALL could come vote as you!

You could get away with it. People don’t care enough to protect the election process.

However, the Saturday night before the election, I drove from the Twin Cities down highway 169 to Mankato to attend a college hockey game between the Minnesota Gophers @ the Minnesota State Mavericks. I got there a bit early, & while waiting in the lobby for the gates to open, I watched dozens of people go to Will Call, & produce an ID to get their tickets. Can’t get into the arena without a ticket, & you could’nt get them without an ID.

Interesting, the Fox page is calling Wisc for Socky, but Mitt has a significant lead with 30% + in

Unbelievable. Every douchebag the dems have put up are winning. Warren, give me a break. Menendez, sheesh. Grayson, WTF.
Obie/Jarret have 163 EV. Calif, Ore, Wash, and HI put him over the top even w/o MN and IA, and the way its looking they will go his way too.
Once again I am overwhelmed by the stupidity.
Last election I gave people a break as they were caught up in the black deal. This time, when then the O voters start whining, I have two words for them and it’s not “lets dance.”

PsychoDad

New Mexico just tied it at 162, but Arizona will put that back over the top for Mitt.

Think positive– Socky is close, but he has NOT been ahead YET.

i disagree, barry’s been a head all along.

He is now– within 30 but that’s because Cal went up on the board and that was a given. Fffng *&^% I don’t think the math is even there for Mitt. I can’t ffng believe this.

Well, this is still the Fox board and Wisc might still shift back for mitt, he’s still leading by a decent margin. staying narrowwly ahead in va., not called yet. Washington is razor-thin with only 10% in

And Menendez got reelected. It’s official. People suck.

poppajoe49

Menendez is under indictment, yet he wins. Gotta love NJ politics!
Grayson is fighting fraud charges. Gotta love Orlando. If it wasn’t for Disney, etc, that place would be all section 8 housing.

danybhoy

NJ sucks ass. Only NYC makes it look acceptable.

poppajoe49

Sorry, NYC is 10 times worse than NJ.

The band Slipknot has a song called “People = Shit” & they may be right.

Jessie Jackson Jr wins reelection from the looney bin and that joke Alan Grayson was reelected. Grayson didn’t even run as a Dem but as a progressive.

poppajoe49

Grayson won because people in Orlando are fucking idiots!

sa_rose

As dar as I remember after living in Brevard County for a little while, you are right. And the pundits all say that area is predominately left leaning Hispanics, as opposed to the Miami area, which is right leaning Cubans.

danybhoy

JJjr won because of his last name & the fact that those who voted for him look like him.

lol u just reminded me of an old eddie murphy routine involving gus, his wife who looks like bigfoot, and his kids, who look like bigfoot.

And if you look at the numbers, you can thank the libertarians for that.

Romney / Ryan
REP 3,725,197
49.33%

Obama / Biden
DEM 3,761,720
49.81%

Johnson / Gray
LBT 39,689
0.53%

GOOD JOB, JOCKSTRAP.

I’m trying to stay positive here, I really wish this election wasn’t as close as it is and Romney won Pa and Fl by now and we can all go to bed happy. Really we might not know for weeks who won. So I will save my comments about your Libertarian party blame game for another day, just to stay positive.

sa_rose

Renenber all those early voting sites that were countin ROmney votes for Obama? I’m finding it hard to be positive.

Alien

GOP has the House for years to come.. not sure how states are going yet (gov, statehouse).. I’m not seeing Romney victory path anymore. My hope is they can all return to some sensible 90s style bargaining for a spell

1/3 of Ohio reported, and Mitt’s down by near 300k popular.

I just can’t believe how close its getting. I can’t believe that idiot is getting out of single digits.

Joe

Sorry about Pa. I can’t believe it was such a landslide. I never thought it was a lock for Romney but I thought he at least would have had a chance.

It’s looking like tonight might be a sad night for our country.

there, how’s that PoppaJ?

They are holding out on calling Va and ohio. Their own maps show both states overerwhelmngly red, but with maybe 10-15 counties that haven’t reported, so they still say he will win both states. Of course as I speak, they have assigned 274 Electoral votes to Obama, with all he blue lobs in the Northeast, around Illinois, Wisconsin,. etc and the west coast. Oh and New Mexico. Everything else reported is red. Popular vote puts Romney ahead, but because no one will make the electoral college divide their votes according to the popular vote, instead of winner take all, its irrelevant. Its official. Americans. at least those who voted for Obama, are retarded. 2008 people were looking for change. Now, with all the evidence before them of how stupid Obama is (ore really smart if you thing his objective was to destabilize the economy and thus the country) they voted for him again. With no looming election in the future, and the ability to pretty much do anything he wants with zero consequences, I dread to think what the next 4 years will look like. I’m hoping this will be like the Dewey-Truman election, but I’m not holding my breath.

RobertW

mitt’s carrying more counties in OH than barry. not sure of the demographics, but if cuyahoga cty and erie cty are any indication, this is still about RACE in Ohio, and not what’s good for Americans.

Joe
Member

As of right now, with 64% of the votes counted in Ohio, Mitt’s down by 90,000 votes. Hope those other 36% of votes are in Republican leaning areas.

Figures the U.N. observers wouldn’t do their job right. They WERE supposed to come here and make sure Obama wins, aren’t they?

Elrond Hubbard

Yes American elections were built on trust and that trust still exists in many places—but not in our Democrat controlled Third World cities like Philadelphia, Chicago, Newark and Detroit. These are cities where political corruption is an accepted fact of life and where you shut up and vote as you’re told.

All I can say is “Holy shit! I never thought I’d hear this from the UN!”

JPTravis

I know! What a hoot. Liberals thought they would come in and point out how the evil Republicans were impeding the right to vote. Instead, they can’t believe we don’t ask for ID.

The law of unintended consequences in action.

poppajoe49

Maybe we should let the UN run our elections.

I can’t believe I just said that!

i can’t believe you just said that.
