Joe Biden believes President Obama should be impeached over Libyan war

by editor on March 23, 2011

In this interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, Joe Biden clearly states his position that a President should be impeached for launching an attack on a nation that hasn’t attacked the United States.

Of course, the tough-talking Biden was only a Senator when this interview took place and he was speaking of President Bush, but one would hope that his argument remains consistent.

“I was chairman of the Judiciary Committee for 17 years or its ranking member. I teach separation of powers in Constitutional law. This is something I know. So I got together and brought a group of Constitutional scholars together to write a piece that I’m going to deliver to the whole Unites States Senate pointing out the President has no Constitutional authority to take this nation to war against a country of 70 million people unless we’re attacked or unless there is proof that we are about to be attacked. And if he does, if he does, I would move to impeach him. The House obviously has to do that, but I would lead an effort to impeach him. The reason for my doing that, and I don’t say it lightly, I don’t say it lightly….”

Perhaps the three words no American wants to hear: President Joe Biden.

Kokuaguy. We’re just waiting for you to start the intelligent conversation, then we’ll jump right in. But all you do is bitch and whine. I figure that’s all you got.

I thought I might find folks on this site who are interested in a real discussion of the issues. Guess I came to the wrong venue.

You are repeating yourself. Instead of typing the same stupid thing over and over again on every thread, why don’t you ADD something intelligent and worthy of discussion instead? If you have an opinion on something POST IT, otherwise stating the same thing over and over again is just making you look bad.

Whoa here! Are you some kind of America loving, gun toting person or what?

I just ordered a couple of hats and tshirts for myself! I can see some of my more liberal friends faces when I show up at a party! Thanks for the link, I do love to make people think even when it disturbs their little orbit on our planet.

I love it!!!! I’m an independent but frankly I haven’t seen anything but a bunch of money-grubbing, self interested politicians destroying this country for many years. Bush was a war criminal like Hitler and Obama has followed in his tracks. There isn’t any difference in the parties. They’re only out for what they can get and they’ll say anything to get themselves promoted just a little higher where they can rake off more cash from the American people while screwing the needy.

That famous legislative document that Sheriff Joe Biden wrote, No One Can Find IT. Do you believe it? Wait, this just in…Rumors are surfacing and many believe said impeachment documents are being stored in the same safe deposit box that is hiding Barry’s birth certificate. News at 11…

I don’t know, navyvet.
we may need to bring a free cellphone in here, or something. Seems to me, that the countries is in REM sleep. In Europe, they are asking themselves the tough questions, as well, like ‘is that the cutest Polar Bear you’ve ever seen?’

Is he talking about a POTUS violating the living breathing white slave owner written document liberals rarely pay attention to, called the ‘constitution,’ or is he talking about the real “Constitution of the United States of America?’ If he’s talking about the first one, then he can interpret that one any way he and his homies want to; however, if he’s talking about the latter, then there’s that pesky issue called ‘original intent.’ Biden to his homies: “Damn that pesky document, let’s just ignore it all together!” “I’ve got a real good gig here, I don’t have to do any real work and all I have to do is kiss a little ass every now and then, I’m already good at that!”

They always do the opposite of what they said. Hitler said he would not fight a war on two fronts – then he did – then they lost.

Obama said (see blog) then did not keep it. But darn sure meant it for President Bush.

What if the military kept the constitution too? They could have said “no” we will not fight until a vote happens in congress.

Doesn’t anyone read it any more?

Biden, the global poster boy for hypocrisy! amazing how personal pride, honor and all the self professed knowledge of constitution law go plummeting down the drain and instantaneously replaced with the barry butt kiss!

If the clowns at the RNC had one nut collectively they would make this an ad and plaster it all over. NOW not sometime in the future. But then expecting anything out of the RNC besides ass kissing the media pukes that continually knife them in the back is sheer fantasy.

they don’t have the collective nut because they know what the rising cost of gas is doing to business.

they’re thinking, yeah, its hypocritical, but what the hell, lets go.
They need to start looking a bit more stoic over at the RNC.
instead of a bunch of pavlovs dogs, get the message out that this IS OBAMAS IRAQ.

Beach bum, I think You might be giving the republicans too much credit by suggesting that they are thinking. I think we got a bunch of great new tea party types in there, but the establishment types reserve all the crap they should be slinging at the dims for the ones who actually want to do the right thing.

Yep, the Republicans don’t seem to get it. With a strong enough offense, you don’t need a great defense. But that takes cajones – a staple in short supply these days in the party of Lincoln and Reagan.

That was the old Joe Biden. The new Joe Biden is too busy kiss the ass of barry to have such thoughts and ideas.

Isnt technology awesome? You can go back and search for statements or interviews then show the complete utter hypocrisy of some people

What do you have to say now Joseph? I can’t hear you now
