Journal News gun permit map used by burglars to target White Plains home? “A White Plains residence pinpointed on a controversial handgun permit database was burglarized Saturday, and the burglars’ target was the homeowner’s gun safe.” In other news, “Fecal matter mailed to [Journal News] editor CynDee Royle.” Sending fecal matter to an a***ole – how ironic.

Those who where robbed should now file suit against the publisher and chief editor for having their privacy violated. There’s no way the paper can claim the gun owners are public figures and their precious 1st Amendment gives them the right to publish their names. All these lefty papers don’t get it. It’s the 2nd Anendment that protects their 1st.

Fools.

“Although some good-government groups have come to the defense of the White Plains-based newspaper”

What the hell does that mean? “good-government groups?”

That means the people who believe that tyranny can be altruistic. Isn’t that lovely?

The left has been masterful in their switch from “be a non-conformist” to “conform or be destroyed.” Whereas “Leave it to Beaver” was insideous in their “demand” that everyone in society behave like the Cleaver family, suddenly it’s “think like the kids on Glee or you will be ejected from society.” …And this is A-OK by them.

Over the weekend, Hannity had a special with people that were “outed” by this paper.
One couple said that they both had CC permits, but only one of them was listed, so it’s obvious the paper only wanted to release the addresses, not the people. This is completely disingenuous by the paper.

Seeing that the journal felt the need to invade those who where burglarized, it should be the ones who should have to replace, repair and secure all of the property damaged and stolen

If it were not for the journals shoddy actions the thieves would not have known which homes had a weapon in it.

That’s quite an army that this map displays.

I want to see them print an abortion map. I want to know everyone who’s had an abortion. Isn’t it my right to know?

It’s your right and “choice” to know.

So bad people who can’t buy guns break the law to get them. This will clearly all change once Obama uses executive fiat to ban law abiding citizens from owning guns.

If it can be proven that those who broke into the home used the map provided by the Journal News, they should be charged as an accessory in the crime. Now that might not hold up in criminal court, but a civil court with a jury might very well stick it right where it hurts.

OJ Simpson, anyone?

I think that they would have a hard time proving that the paper wasn’t complicit in this crime.
If they hadn’t printed this map, the criminal would most likely not have known where to go.
