Obama administration gives get out of jail free cards to illegal aliens

by editor on August 23, 2011

Our commander-in-cheat has again managed to circumvent the laws of our nation. He couldn’t get the Dream Act passed, so he’s giving illegal aliens a get out of jail free card.

Republicans accused the Obama administration of instituting “backdoor amnesty” after officials announced they would launch a case-by-case review of illegal immigrants slated for deportation in an effort to thin the list and focus resources on kicking out criminals.

get-out-of-jail-free-cardOther’s opposed say the following:

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said: “This plan amounts to backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of illegal aliens.”

Texas Republican Rep. Michael McCaul said: ‘ It is just the latest attempt by this president to bypass the intended legislative process when he does not get his way.”

Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano thinks it will “enhance public safety” and focus efforts to deport on “those who pose a threat.”

Harry Reid thinks it’s wonderful, too: “This new DHS directive will help prioritize our limited enforcement resources to focus on serious felons, gang members and individuals who are a national security threat rather than college students and veterans who have risked their lives for our country,” Reid said in a statement. “I am especially pleased about the impact these new policies will have on those who would benefit from the DREAM Act.”

No big surprise here that his Royal Highness, King Obama, continues to rule by fiat.

They’ll just keep on with business as usual but on our side of the border.. oh wait they already are here in Texas. A gun every five feet on the border, shoot to kill no questions asked… Please.

Hey you last two, and mods, yeah, your thoughts are appreciated, but if you want advertising space, pay for it like the people selling Amazing Acai Berry Juice! have to.

Honestly, if you were channeling Ronald Reagan and wrapped up with your own self-promotional link, I’d hit the “Report” button, if’n this place had one.

“THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN 1986, WHEN THEY ENACTED THE IMMIGRATION CONTROL AND REFORM ACT. What makes you think they are not lying to us again?” The Federal Government has been lying to all who are not about them since we first landed on that rock up north with treaties to the Indians. How many treaties to the nation were ever honored? So what is so different today, just the recipients. Just as the Dream Act with its zillion earmarks is a joke but with that said, it could be molded into a workable item to which entry into the country could be of a viable choice, if molded just right; as our country always has been a melting pot of individuals worldwide. It could be a way to increase our tax base and revenue via the government, all the while, being a legal way to enter the country, much like Ellis Island was years prior. Think about it, what are these immigrants looking for? A better way or a new start right. Maybe one could sell freedom, as an entry vehicle or other ideas, like I stated on my Hispanic web page La recuperación de la Florida un voto a la vez, http://www.garyaanderson.com/hispana_de_la_Florida.php

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN 1986, WHEN THEY ENACTED THE IMMIGRATION CONTROL AND REFORM ACT. What makes you think they are not lying to us again?

Millions were given Amnesty under the Simpson/Mazzoli bill, with an outcome of 6 million and a path to citizenship. A good many had rushed processing, with major problems they way it was originally performed. On top of this was CHAIN MIGRATION, which added even more family members, which ended up eating away at Social Security safety net, with not a dime coming from their pockets. Each year taxpayers are forced by the court to care financially for illegal aliens and their children. Over a 100 billion a year is drained from the US treasury and States, with no end in sight. President Obama cannot survive the 2012 election campaign, without the vote of maximum number of minorities, legal and illegal.

In America since the immigration lax enforcement, the criminals from the dregs of the gutters have been turning up here. Hit and run drivers have been escalating, along with drunken foreigners who have been mowing down innocent citizens. The worst states on the borders are full of drug dealers, people smugglers, children and women molesters and heinous murders. This is the abject time when E-verify must be mandated for every workplace and “Secure Communities” must be enforced to its full capability.

The Democratic parties, with Liberal undertones are unconcerned that–ONLY—U.S. citizens can vote? Learn about widespread voter fraud, that the US government pretends is negligible–it’s not? More is available to read at “Judicial Watch & NumbersUSA” that illustrates that both Washington and certain states are rife with corruption. Our last hope is the TEA PARTY, THE PEOPLE’S PARTY of all Americans, who will turn the tide of Obama’s executive order to limit the flow of illegal alien deportations. Just like the President Obama’s health care program, his executive order is full of gaping loopholes, so there is convincing probability that illegal aliens will be returned to the streets.

Rest assured the word is already out about Obama’s clemency campaign that will invigorate millions to arrive from around the world; but mostly from countries south of the US border.

THE ONLY STATES THAT ARE SAFE FROM ECONOMICAL OCCUPATION OF ILLEGAL ALIENS IS ARIZONA, ALABAMA AND GEORGIA. THEIR LEGISLATORS DECIDED TO ENACT POLICING LAWS, SO THEIR CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS DIDN’T GET STUCK WITH UNFUNDED MANDATE BILLS FROM WASHINGTON. STATES THAT REMAIN UNCONCERNED ABOUT THEIR LEGAL POPULATIONS, SUCH AS CALIFORNIA AND NEVADA, WHO ARE NOW DEMANDING MORE TAXES TO PAY FOR THESE INCURSIONS. BOTH STATES ARE STRAINING AGAINST LIBERAL POLITICIANS, GIVING UNHEARD OF WELFARE PAYMENTS.

DEMAND THAT THE US GOVERNMENT, ENACT UNLAWFUL ENTRY A FELONY!

Taxpayers are already being forced to pay for the education, medical care and welfare for illegal migrants and immigrants? So how much more money is citizens and residents expected to pay from their dwindling wages? Illegal alien children are well taken care of with your tax dollars that includes food stamps and cash payments. While many American citizens live in dire poverty. Something is seriously wrong with this picture?

The TEA PARTY has become a mammoth grassroots movement of tens of millions of one- minded Americans from all racial and religious backgrounds, political parties, no matter what the Leftists party blabber? The TEA PARTY members have the shared focused values of limited government, individual freedoms, personal responsibility, “fair” free markets and above all else returning authority to the States and the people. We need a flat tax system, so that everybody whose domain is the United States-pays. No more IRS loopholes to escape through? The TEA PARTY is about reforming all political parties and control, so the key principles of our US Constitution, once again is the foundation on which this nation stands. The TEA PARTY is the hope of America’s future; for without it the rot will continue to eat away in House & Senate. The TEA PARTY will enforce the 1986 (ICRA), with no further Amnesties, ever.

The left seems to be under the impression that being here illegally (a crime) isn’t a crime! If you want to deport the illegals that are criminals, start at the top of the list and kick them all out!

Or perhaps a law abiding “citizen” like the guy in Metro Boston who struck and dragged a motorcyclist to his death – turns out he was in the country illegally from Ecuador, and driving without a license. Not just suspended – just never had one! And although he’s being held on $100K bail, the whole thing will get broomed.
You know it’s bad when the Mass. AG is quoted as saying, “It’s not illegal to be an illegal in Massachusetts.”

I don’t want special treatment – I just want the same treatment the illegals are getting!

Indeed, KimmyQueen.

Additionally, the driver was boozed up, with his 6 year old son in the cab of the truck, and when the motorcycle was finally dislodged from the undercarriage, the drunken fool backed up over him and then tried to bolt.
And this POS has also been in other altercations with police, including assault and battery on a police officer.

Watch for them to really ratchet up the machine to court the hispanic voter. They own the black vote, liberal vote, but they are losing the indeps and hispanics. Their race based rationale will naturally lead them to believe that they can buy the “mexicans.” Guess what’s next? “The Tea Party hates hard working immigrant families.” They’re gonna plaster the country with it. Only problem with that logic is that the country is fed up with illegals and want something done about it.

Pure pandering to the Hispanic community. His approval ratings have dropped 36 points among that constituency since he became president. It is also a lawless act and wholly exceeds his authority under the Constitution.

If someone, anyone is confirmed as illegally residing in this country, why aren’t they immediately removed? Locally (Cincinnati, OH), there is a teenager who was brought illegally to the U.S. from Guatemala at age 4 with his parents. Everyone is making a big deal about how he’s so smart, graduated near the top of his class, has a scholarship to a local university, isn’t hurting anyone, etc., etc. He went to a public high school. Tax dollars going towards illegal aliens. Scholarship is to a state school. More tax dollars going to illegal aliens. I feel bad for him, America is all he knows. But every job he gets is one that could go to someone that was born here, or followed our laws and came here legally. The DREAM Act or a similar measure would only encourage illegal immigration, and make it harder for true Americans to go to college and decrease the quality of our military. I would deport Jesus himself if he came here illegally.

And if you read through that wall of text, you deserve a cookie.

Overall Jesus Christ would respect the laws of the land. He advocates taking care of the poor, but He does not advocate being lawless and none of His Apostles did either. Famously the Apostle Paul made sure to tell Christians to submit to the laws/government. Obviously if the government/laws contradict the Word of G-d that is the only time there is conflict and we (Christians) have to make a choice. Now when He comes back, He comes to abolish all the governments and He will be able to do so because He is all powerful… but that is another story. In addition, I am sure that He would agree overall, as He, Himself sets limits as to whom gets to enter into His Kingdom, people without the correct documentation, so to speak, will not be allowed into His Kingdom.

There HAS to be parameters as to whom you want in your space. People generally will not allow someone they do not know in their homes! Someone that has no documentation, no antecedents and you don’t know their past and what they have been capable of doing. You don’t just pick up some girl or boy from the street and ask them come to my home and take care of my kid… If a robber comes in, in the best of circumstances he gets shot, he wasn’t invited and his behavior makes his stay impossible. I see this entire country as my home and my space, I came here with the right paperwork, I bid my time and paid my money. Everyone can do it. If people can someone work or beg or borrow or steal 5K for a “coyote”, I am thinking to myself, why can’t they use that money instead to legally come here? Takes longer perhaps to make things official but you can still legally work here and if you keep on the straight path and keep checking in with government man you should have no problems. I don’t get it.

I agree that if I had decided to live there, I would have personally felt cheated that resources that should have gone to me or to a born citizen who wants to work hard but needs the opportunity/resources, were not available, because they went to children like him. It is not his fault iti s his parents fault, however, it was wrong.

I find it interesting that, the day (11/23/11) after GOP golden boy Newt Gingrich announces his proposal to ” (find) a way to create legality so that (children of illegal immigrants) are not separated from their families,” there’s NOT ONE SINGLE comment about it on this board. Instead, just the usual silly schoolgirl giggles about Halal turkeys, and repetitive b*tching about OWS participants exercising their First Amendment rights.

So why is no one interested in Newt’s rather controversial (at least to right wingers) position on illegal immigrants this morning? Did FAUX News neglect to tell you about that part of last night’s debate, or are you just waiting for Rush Limbaugh to tell you how you feel about it?

Sidekick
Member

Because it isn’t controversial. Unlike the left wing collectivists that you adore, I have no desire to do what Saint FDR did and round up people in the night and destroy families. Second, he qualified his remarks very carefully and to edit out his entire proposal is typical of a left wing loon who parrots stereotypical propaganda from far left wing websites.

BTW, the FDR reference has to do with Mexicans not Japanese or Italian US citizens. If you don’t know what I am referring to, then look it up.

This is a self-explanatory website. Gingrich sits in its advisory board. Anyone who assumes that Newt just blurted out his position as just a vote pandering stunt would do well to understand that he has invested a lot if time in the Latin community. Now, what Perry said about college tuition WAS a vote pandering stunt.

Gosh, you’re awfully defensive this morning, Kick. First you accuse me of “parrot(ing) propaganda,” when in fact I was merely quoting Newt; then you went into a tirade about FDR (even though he’s been dead for over 65 years, and has no bearing on this discussion); and now you’re imagining assumptions about Newt “blurt(ing) out his position.”

Interesting that, when I ask for your opinion, you respond by posting a link to somebody else’s (conservative, of course!)opinion. That’s very telling, you know.

My girl, the only thing telling around here is that you did not open that link nor do you know the full extent of Newt’s proposal. I support his proposal. That is my opinion. I think you may be the only one here who did not grasp that. I love it when far left wingers think that they are being clever when in reality they just take their cues from Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, and the far left media.

I’m not surprised that you do not understand the FDR reference but I’ve often noticed how poorly informed far left wingers can be.

Actually, I did. It contained a bunch of opinion pieces, allegedly written by conservative Hispanics.

Since I didn’t ask you to provide a bunch of other people’s opinions, I can’t think why you bothered to post it—-except, perhaps, to avoid any further discussion of your own views. That seems to happen a lot on this board.

Oh, I understand the FDR reference, Kick. I also understand that you threw it in in an unsuccessful attempt to shift focus. Let me dumb this down for you, so you’ll get it this time: We’re not discussing FDR here. We’re discussing Newt Gingrich, and his comments about illegal immigrants last night.

Got it now? If you want to rail against FDR on another thread, be my guest. However, he never knew Newt Gingrich, died long before the GOP morphed into its current state, and has absolutely no bearing on this discussion.

Poppycock and balderdash, my girl. It always amuses me when some left wing crack pot parrots far left media in an attempt to sound enlightened.

It is also amusing when a left winger so completely fails to comprehend a very simple post. The obvious connection between what FDR (a very far left winger in his own right) actually did while president and what today’s far left wingers presume conservatives want for all illegals is so simple yet it is lost on her because it
does not fit into her very tight POV. It is hypocrisy, my girl, and you far left wingers are masters at it.

As for my opinion, I take Newt at his word. Secure the border, deport those that have no connections here, and then evaluate those who have been here for a generation plus. If you had actually learned what Newt said and then read where I said I agreed, then I would not have had to explain further. Do keep up, my girl, I try my best to keep it simple for you.

Wrong. You failed, once again, to address my questions. Proving, of course, that you haven’t actually thought this thing out at all. (For example, what does “no connections” mean? What about young children, who have NOT been here for a generation, yet are U.S. citizens, and have illegal immigrant parents? I guess it escaped your notice that THAT was the entire point of this discussion, huh?)

In short, you could have expressed your whole (rather shallow) opinion, without wasting all that time, just by saying, “Newt Gingrich said it; I agree with it; and that settles it.”

My girl, I owe you nothing nor do I feel compelled to write an essay on this topic. You see, here on the Internet, we have websites for us to visit if we
choose. Since that is the case, when I say I support Gingrich’s position that is enough said other than to add a conservative Latin oriented website where Newt is on the board and has devoted a fair about of energy to the issues in the Spanish community. I posted that link as a way of informing other posters of its existence because it is relevant to the discussion. You, being a far left wing loon, who is
so myopic in her views have repeatedly failed to keep up in this thread.

My girl, are we clear? Because I’m not going to go over the same points again. If comprehension remains an issue, then I suggest that you reread what I have already posted. I am certain that you are the only one who is having trouble.

following this thread. You completely missed the point of me linking americano.com (shocking) and no, I’m
not going to explain it to you.

To your last sentence, my girl, I’ve got a pretty substantial history on this board where expressing my
views are concerned. What have you “contributed”?

My boy, I made no comment about “FDR,” or Japanese or Italian citizens, nor do I intend to. Suppose you stop trying to shift focus, and stick with the issue at hand here.

As for your accusation of “parrot(ing) propaganda,” the only thing I “parroted” (or, more accurately, “quoted”) here were Gingrich’s own words.

So you agree that the children of illegal immigrants shouldn’t be deported? Do you also agree that, since you propose not to treat them as lawbreakers, they are entitled to attend state schools without paying out-of-state tuition rates? What about their parents? If the parents are deported, as most right wingers think appropriate, do the kids get placed in foster homes, or do we build orphanages for them (as Newt once suggested)?

I’m very intrigued by your position on this issue, Kick, although I’m still amused that none of you righties thought it significant enough to bring up on this board today. 😉

What DOESN’T surprise me, of course, is that, instead of expounding on your one-size-fits-all “I agree with him” response, you launched into a series of non sequiturs, each one more defensive than the last. You claim that Newt has a “sound and measured response”—-yet you were absolutely incapable of answering, when I asked you how you thought this should be set up (amnesty for the parents? Foster care for the kids? Orphanages? Costs—both monetary and psychological—of each approach?)

My boy, you’ve been blathering from the moment you decided to respond to my first post on this thread. There’s virtually no spirit of discussion in ANY of your responses—-just lots of defensiveness, the usual canned accusation that I listen to Rachel Maddow, and some irrelevant b*tching about a president who’s been dead for over 65 years.

That’s okay, though. Your evasiveness on this issue has answered my question more effectively than any direct response could have. 😉

LMAO.

My girl, it isn’t defensiveness. I just don’t take you seriously. I am “lampooning” you. As I mentioned above, there is much written on this topic, I heard him speak last night during the debate and I have formed an opinion based on that. Where do you presume to impose upon me to provide you with a long winded essay? I responded to your post in two parts: 1) stating I agree with the position of the Speaker and 2) I made the most valid point that leftists (including FDR) have a long history of rounding people up and either deporting or imprisoning undesirables. The hypocrisy, that I mentioned, is that left wingers sympathetic to FDR are the first to condemn the supposed position that conservatives want to tear apart families and round people up in the middle of the night. That is and has always been a false narrative put out by the left-wing propaganda machine aka the limited source of your knowledge.
