Parents say 2nd-grade teacher tried to convince their son, 8, that he was transgender: ‘He feels different now; he feels confused.’ Talk about brainwashing. Teachers have no business doing this whatsoever.

An Oregon mother and father are suing a school district for nearly $1 million after they say their son’s second-grade teacher last year asked him several times if he thought he was a girl and held him out of recess to read books, watch videos, and have one-on-one conversations about being transgender — all without their knowledge, KPTV-TV reported.

Thank God that wasn’t my child. I’d be in jail.

My first instinct is that this is a homosexual teacher who was grooming a child for sexual abuse. Why else would a teacher take this kind of responsibility on themselves? The reading materials were from a transgender friend? Who is most likely to have a transgender friend? The incidents as described are exactly how grooming is done, the attempt at making it official “gender identity” counseling simply an attempt at proactive coverup in case the situation was discovered. Basically, the teacher brought child pornography to school and shared it with a child. I’m guessing if you look at this teacher’s computer and examine his or her record, you will see other similar evidence of sexual predation.

You are exactly right. The “teacher” was grooming the boy to be “theirs”.

That was my first feeling, too. School/courts needs to take action. Family is right to sue. One part that infuriated me: the school saying if it were Portland, no one would bat an eye. Wouldn’t be an issue.

Teacher needs to be fired. Then charged with child abuse. If that were my kid, teacher would need to eat with a straw.

This should be considered a form of child sexual harassment and the teacher should be registered as a sex offender.

That is a teacher who needs to be dragged outside and strung up from a tree…
