Pravda: Obama re-elected by “an illiterate society.” “His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia. Obama’s fools and Stalin’s fools share the same drink of illusion.” That just about sums it up, doesn’t it?

Well, Pravda lately has been a lot more of the Weekly World News than a Communist/Soviet mouthpiece. They may be going a little bit more for shock value here than otherwise. But interestingly, they say something I think I said here a few weeks back, that Russia at least has come up from Marxism, knows what a nightmare it is, and of all places in the world is one of the more unlikely places to go back to it.

I’m still prepared to defect.

Hey cool! Check this out!
http://english.pravda.ru/russia/politics/20-11-2012/122856-moscow_cossacks-0/

Moscow Police shall revive the great Cossack tradition

(Interesting paragraph:)

Cossacks protected the Russian Orthodox Church and the Motherland during difficult times. Today, Cossacks continue doing so, educating children and young people according to their high ethical standards.
Cossacks are strong people, problem solvers, with traditional family values. They go on protecting the Orthodox religion, because it is their foundation, the secure ground they stand on.

Yeah we pretty much already figured this out, but at least Pravda, unlike the Lame Stream Liberal brown-nosers has the balls to tell the truth about it.

Of course, us literate ones know how to write; enough so to write in Ron Paul.

You do realize that Ron Paul has retired and will no longer be in the political arena? You see, people get old and decide not to work anymore – see how that works? Of course, people like you could also write in Lyndon LaRouche, Wendell Wilkie, or Andrew Johnson if you see fit.

However, you will continue the very prolonged case of mental masturbation called Ron Paul.

Bu-bye now.

Dave, hate to say this, but crowley is too effing moronic to know that Ron Paul is gone & he’s going to need to find a new guy. Also, he won’t go away.

Pravda is telling the story that the ass kissers and salad tossing media here wont tell and for them to do it things must be really bad.

As was pointed out by tincan53 Pravda is the mouth piece of Putin and has been the lapdog for him ever since he rose to power.

Damn it is going to be a long and difficult winding road until this POS is gone. Now is the time for the ball less republicans to find their’s and a back bone and stand up. If not, they will be replaced by those that will. Yes the Tea Party backed a couple of people that stepped in it, but at least they were willing to stand on principle and not change course or their position just for a few votes.

Half the faculty at the Ivy League schools have written Pravda to cancel their subscriptions in protest.

This article reads like something Glenn Beck could have written. A lot of insight into the downfall of America and it’s freedom.

Ya know, when I was in school –many moons ago– a teacher would make the occasional ironic comment (common at the time) that we won WW2, but Germany and Japan won the peace — pointing to their industrial success and prosperity. Now I have to wonder — maybe we won the Cold War, but . . .

The “illiterate society” is by design. Leftist progressives have controled education for a long time, & they have damaged this nation to the point of being beyond repair.

It isn’t clear Latinos are natural GOPers: a majority in exit polls favor high taxes and Obamacare, 2/3 are pro-choice.

That’s just the illegals that the DNC pays to vote.

Not really poppa. The vast majority of latinos who love Obummer are 4th generation, home grown, lazy assed welfare patients. The majority of Latino immigrants I know, illegal or legal, tend to be very conservative, pro-life, and hate big government. They know what it is like to live under a dictator, that is why they left their home country.

How many times have we tried to tell you to beware of “polls”? The answers you get depends on who you ask.

agreed.. i had kinda knee-jerk reaction to push Rubio with his soft-stance on immigration reform to grow GOP coalition, and have since been disabused of this notion by similar analysis of polling

Rubio would bring in the Cuban voters, but not Latinos as a whole.
